Abstract
Ionic liquids are organic salts with melting points typically below ambient temperature. The unique physical properties of ionic liquids, such as lack of measurable vapor pressure, high thermal and chemical stability, make them ideal to be used as reusable homogenous support for catalysts. Recently, ionic liquid-supported organocatalysts have been widely used in catalysis due to their strong coordination and activation of hydrogen bond accepting substrates through efficient double-hydrogen-bonding interactions. In addition, the supported catalysts are not only very versatile compounds that are effective catalysts for the reaction, but are also environmentally friendly. Herein, we designed and successfully synthesized new class of ionic liquid-supported bifunctional organocatalysts from the relatively cheap and easily available chiral amine. The new ionic liquid catalyst was applied to enantioselective Michael addition reaction of cyclohexanone to nitroolefin. ;Ionic liquids 는 일반적으로 주위 온도보다 낮은 melting point를 가지고 있는 organic salt이다. 이상적인 ionic liquid는 증기압이 매우 낮고 휘발하지않아 독성이 없고 반응 후 재사용/재활이 가능해서 촉매로서 활용많이 연구되고 있다. ionic liquid-supported organocatalyst는 이온성 액체가 포함된 유기촉매이다. 이런 organocatalyst는 hydrogen bond accepting substrate 와 효율적인 수소결합을 하여 enantioslective 한 organic compound를 효과적으로 합성하고 재활용이 되기에ionic liquid-supported organocatalyst에 대한 연구는 최근 몇년간 급속히 증가하고 있다. 이 졸업논문에서는 새로운 ionic liquid-supported organocatalyst를 디자인 하고 성공적으로 합성하였고 새로 합성한 촉매는 enantioselective Michael addition reaction에 적용하여 Michael adduct를 얻었다
