부정적 또래 영향과 청소년 도박 문제의 관계

Abstract

본 연구는 청소년 도박에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 밝혀진 부정적 또래 영향과 비합리적 도박신념이 청소년 도박 문제에 미치는 영향을 규명하고 요인 간의 상호작용을 검증하여 청소년 도박 문제의 예방대책을 마련하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 본 연구는 한국도박문제관리센터의‘도박문제 보호요인과 위험요인에 따른 청소년 도박 문제 예방모델 개발’의 연구 원자료를 자료분석에 사용하였다.주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주요변수 및 통제변수 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 종속변수인 청소년 도박 문제는 통제변수인 성별, 한달 평균 용돈과 정적(+) 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러, 부정적 또래 영향 및 비합리적 도박신념과 정적(+) 상관 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 독립변수인 부정적 또래 영향은 통제변수인 성별, 한달 평균 용돈과 정적(+) 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러, 비합리적 도박신념 및 청소년 도박 문제와 정적(+) 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 조절변수인 비합리적 도박신념은 통제변수인 성별, 한달 평균 용돈과 정적(+) 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러, 부정적 또래 영향 및 청소년 도박 문제와 정적(+) 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 비합리적 도박 신념이 부정적 또래 영향이 청소년 도박 문제에 미치는 영향력을 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 비합리적 도박신념이 +1SD일 때, 부정적 또래 영향은 청소년 도박 문제에 통계적으로 정적(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 비합리적 도박신념이 –1SD일 때, 부정적 또래 영향은 청소년 도박 문제에 부적(-) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.;This study aims to identify the relationship between negative peer influence and adolescent gambling problems and verify whether irrational gambling beliefs influence this relationship, thereby providing evidence for preventing adolescent gambling problems. To this end, the study has used cross-sectional data from the‘Development of Adolescent Gambling Prevention Model Based on Gambling Problem Protection Factors and Risk Factors’ by the Korea Problem Gambling Agency and performed a verification with the response data of 1,500 adolescents aged 13 to 18 nationwide. The primary outcomes are as follows. First, negative peer influence has a positive (+) correlation with adolescent gambling problems. Second, irrational gambling beliefs moderate the impact of negative peer influence on adolescent gambling problems. Based on these results, this study presents practical suggestions for preventing adolescent gambling problems
