Abstract

Thus far, the analysis on the researcher’s graduation recital program: W. A. Mozart’s Violin Sonata No. 18 in G-Major, K.301, E. Ysaÿe’s Sonata for Violin in D Minor, Op. 27, No. 3, “Ballade”, I. Yun’s “Das Vögelchen”, and C. Frank’s Sonata for Violin and Piano in A-Major has been conducted. W. A. Mozart composed a violin sonata consisting of 6 songs for two years starting in 1777 during his long trip to Mannheim and Paris. K. 301, which was examined in this research, is in the form of two movements: Allegro con spirito and Allegro. Unlike his early works that were piano-centred, it treats the violin and the piano equally and illustrates extreme effects in the form of exchanging two melodies by utilizing an even relationship between the two instruments. Inspired by J. S. Bach’s Sonatas and Parpatitas for Solo Violin, E. Ysaÿe composed Six Sonatas for Solo Violin Op. 27, where No. 3 “Ballade” shows aspects that are out of tonality due to frequent use of dissonance; however, it essentially stays inside the tonality system and adds a sense of improvisation by using recitative technique in the introduction. Isang Yun’s“Li-Na im Garten”, which was composed for her grand daughter, is a collection of affection towards animals, their movements and characteristics portrayed from the perspective of a little girl. Out of 5 tracks, track 5 “Das Vögelchen” utilizes various violin techniques such as marcato, staccato, trill, and repetend in order to describe the fast movement of a small bird as well as exploring a high-pitched range to embody chirping of birds C. Frank’s Sonata for Piano and Violin in A-Major is his only violin sonata that he wrote in his final years. Unlike the classical sonata structure, it consists of 4 movements. It is a piece that handles unifying themes throughout all movements and is composed in a way that connects them together in various ways. In this research, the musical characteristics of each composer and their lives as well as techniques of each work have been investigated. It is hoped that this research can aid interpreting and performing these pieces. ;본 논문은 저자의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업리사이틀 프로그램인 볼프강 아마데우스 모차르트(Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756-1791)의 바이올린 소나타 18번(Violin Sonata No. 18, in G-Major K.301), 외젠 이자이(Eugene Ysaÿe, 1858-1931)의 솔로 바이올린 소나타 3번(Sonata for Violin Op. 27 in d minor No. 3, "Ballade"), 윤이상(Isang Yun, 1917-1995)의 Das Vögelchen(작은 새)와 세자르 프랑크(César Franck, 1822-1890)의 바이올린과 피아노를 위한 소나타(Sonata for Violin and Piano in A-Major)에 대한 연구이다. 모차르트(Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756-1791)는 오스트리아 출신의 작곡가이며, 총 6개의 곡으로 이루어져 있는 바이올린 소나타를 작곡하였는데, 그 중 가장 초기에 작곡된 G 장조 K. 301번은 2악장 형식으로 이루어져있으며, 피아노와 바이올린을 동등하게 다룬 것이 특징이다. 이자이(Eugene Ysaÿe, 1858-1931)는 바흐의 <무반주 바이올린 소나타와 파르티타>로부터 영감을 받아 6개의 작품으로 구성 된 무반주 바이올린 소나타를 작곡하였다. 그 중 3번째 수록된 곡인“Ballade”는 중심조성을 d단조로 하였지만 많은 불협화음들을 사용한 것이 이 곡의 특징이다. 대한민국의 작곡가인 윤이상(Isang Yun, 1917-1995)은 5개의 곡으로 구성된 바이올린 솔로곡집 <리나가 정원에서 Li-Na im Garten>를 그의 손녀 리나 첸을 위해 작곡하였는데, 그 중 수록된 제 5곡“작은 새 Das Vögelchen”는 고음역대 악기인 바이올린의 특징을 살려 작은 새를 표현한 작품이다. 19세기 프랑스 낭만주의 시대를 대표하는 오르가니스트 겸 작곡가 세자르 프랑크(César Franck 1822-1890)는 <바이올린 소나타 A장조 Sonata for piano and violin in A-major>를 그의 생애 말기에 작곡하였으며, 총 4악장의 구성으로 순환주제를 사용하여 작곡한 것이 특징이다.
