<17현금을 위한 짧은산조>에 나타난 우조(羽調)연구

Abstract

본 논문은 작곡가 백대웅의 <17현금을 위한 짧은 산조>에 나타난 우조 선법유형을 분석한 것이다. 분석에 앞서 작품에 대한 이해도를 높이기 위해 백대웅 작곡가의 배경, 작품 그리고 저서를 알아보았고 <17현금을 위한 짧은 산조>를 작곡하게 된 동기, 작품해설을 살펴보았다. <17현금을 위한 짧은산조>에는 5명의 음악가들이 정의한 우조가 나타났으며,이들이 정의하는 우조 정의는 다음과 같다. 백대웅의 우조 구성음은 g , a , c’, d , e’5음이며, 종지음은 c’이다. 주요 선율형은 ‘c- e’의 장3도 상행 진행과 ‘a– d’’의 완전4도 상행 진행이 있다. 한만영의 우조 구성음은 g , a , c’, d , e 5음이며, 종지음은 d이다. 한만영은 이러한 선법의 우조를 가곡의‘황종궁 평조’로 보아 즉, 정악의 선법에 더 가까운 특징이 있다고 하였다. 김혜정의 우조 구성음은 g , a , c’, d , e’5음이며, 종지음은 g 또는 c’이다. 주요 선율형은 ‘g – c’의 완전4도 상행 종지와 ‘e - d’의 장2도 하행진행이 있다. 이보형의 우조 구성음은 A , c , d , e , g 5음이며, 종지음은 a 또는 d이다. g은 농현을 하며, c에서 퇴성을 한다. 이진원의 우조 구성음은 e , g , a , c , d의 5음이며, 종지음은 a 또는 d이다. e는 농현을 하며 c에서 퇴성을 한다. 주요 선율형은‘e - a’를 기본으로 하며, ‘a - d’, ‘d - g’, ‘g - c’로 완전4도 상행 진행이 있다. 김우진의 우조 구성음은 g , a , c , d , e의 5음이며, 종지음은 a이다. 주요 선율형은 ‘e - a’의 완전4도 상행 진행과 ‘d – e’와 ‘g – a’의 장2도 상행 진행이 있다. 분석곡인 <17현금을 위한 짧은산조>의 진양조, 중모리, 중중모리, 자진모리, 휘모리에 나타난 우조를 분석해본 결과는 다음과 같다. 진양조는 총 365마디 중 제1마디부터 제132마디까지이며 우조길에 속하는 부분은 제1마디~제48마디, 제79마디~제84마디, 제115마디~132마디로, 총 70마디이다. 진양조는 김혜정의 우조 7회, 백대웅의 우조 3회, 이보형의 우조 2회, 이진원의 우조 2회, 김우진의 우조 2회가 출현한다. 중모리는 전체 365마디 중 제133마디~제212마디로 그 중 중모리에 속하는 우조길은 제133마디~156마디로 총 23마디가 A♭본청 우조길로 전개된다. 중모리는 김혜정의 우조 3회, 이보형의 우조 2회, 이진원의 우조 2회, 백대웅의 우조 2회가 출현한다. 중중모리는 전체 365마디 중 제213마디~제252마디로 총 39마디 즉, 중중모리의 전체 부분이 우조길에 속한다. 중중모리도 중모리에 이어 A♭본청 우조길로 전개된다. 김혜정의 우조 5회, 이보형의 우조 5회, 이진원의 우조 2회, 백대웅의 우조 2회가 출현한다. 자진모리는 전체 365마디 중 제253마디~제325마디로 그 중 자진모리에 속하는 우조길은 제253마디~293마디로 총 40마디가 A♭본청 우조길로 전개된다. 자진모리는 김혜정의 우조 5회, 백대웅의 우조 4회, 이보형의 우조 2회, 이진원의 우조 1회가 출현한다. 휘모리는 전체 365마디 중 제326마디~제365마디로 그 중 휘모리에 속하는 우조길은 제326마디~341마디로 총 16마디이다. 이진원의 우조 2회, 이보형의 우조 1회, 김혜정의 우조 1회, 백대웅의 우조 1회가 출현한다. 이상 백대웅 작곡의 <17현금을 위한 짧은산조>에 나타난 우조 선법에 대한 분석한 결과 진양조에서는 132마디 중 총 70마디가 우조였으며, 백대웅이 정의한 우조는 총 3회, 중모리 79마디 중 총 23마디가 우조길, 그 중 백대웅의 우조는 총 2회 출현하였다. 중중모리는 총 39마디 모두 우조길이고, 백대웅의 우조는 총 2번 출현하였다. 자진모리는 총 72마디 중 총 40마디가 우조이며, 백대웅의 우조는 총 4회가 출현하였다. 마지막으로 휘모리는 총 39마디 중 총 16마디이며 백대웅의 우조는 총 1회이다. 본 논문을 통해 <17현금을 위한 짧은산조>는 백대웅이 정의한 우조 외에 많은 음악가들이 정의한 우조길들이 출현하였고, 총 365마디 중 188마디가 우조로 작곡되었으며 즉, 51.5%가 우조로 이루어진 산조 창작곡임을 알 수 있었다. 본 논문이 <17현금을 위한 짧은 산조>의 연주에 도움이 되는 것에 의의를 둔다.;This paper is an analysis of the type of superior ship method shown in composer Baek Dae-woong's <17 Short Sanjo for Cash>. Prior to the analysis, in order to increase the understanding of the work, I looked into the background, works, and books of composer Baek Dae-woong, and looked at the motivation for composing <Short Sanjo for Cash> and the explanation of the work. In <17 Short Sanjo for Cash>, the friendship defined by five musicians appeared, and the definition of friendship defined by them is as follows. The sound of Baek Dae-woong's Woojo is g, a, c', d, e'5, and the final sound is c'. The main melody types include the long 3-degree upward movement of 'c-e' and the full 4-degree upward movement of 'a–d'. The sound of Han Man-young's Woojo is 5 notes of g, a, c', d, and e, and the final sound is d. Han Man-young said that the Ujo of this Zen method was regarded as the "Pyeongjo of Hwangjonggung Palace" of the song, and that is, it has a characteristic closer to the Zen method of Jeongak. The sound of Kim Hye-jeong's Woojo is g, a, c', d, e'5, and the final sound is g or c'. The main melody types include a complete 4 degree ascending end of 'g – c' and a 2 degree descending progression of 'e - d'. The complementary sound of this complement is A, c, d, e, g 5 notes, and the final sound is a or d. G is a sinusoid and degenerates at c. The dominant construction of the binary circle is five notes of e, g, a, c, and d, and the final consonant is a or d. e is a sinusoid and degenerates at c. The main melody type is based on 'e - a', and there is a full 4 degree upward progression with 'a - d', 'd - g', and 'g - c'. Kim Woo-jin's Ujo composition is five notes of g, a, c, d, and e, and the final note is a. The main melody types include a full 4 degree upward progression of 'e - a' and a 2 degree upward progression of 'd - e' and 'g - a'. The results of analyzing Jinyangjo, Jungmori, Jungjungmori, Jajinmori, and Hwimori in the analysis song <17 Short Sanjo for Cash> are as follows. Jinyangjo is from 1st to 132nd out of a total of 365 bars, and the part that belongs to Woojo-gil is 1st barThe 48th bar, 79th bar to 84th bar, and 115th bar to 132 bar, are 70 bars in total. Jinyangjo will feature Kim Hye-jung's 7th Friendship, Baek Dae-woong's 3rd Friendship, Lee Bo-hyung's 2nd Friendship, Lee Jin-won's 2nd Friendship, and Kim Woo-jin's 2nd Friendship. Jungmo-ri is 133rd to 212th out of 365 bars, and among them, Woojo-gil, which belongs to Jungmo-ri, is 133rd to 156th bars, and a total of 23 bars are developed into Woojo-gil, A♭Headquarters. In Jungmo-ri, Kim Hye-jung's 3rd Friendship, Lee Bo-hyung's 2nd Friendship, Lee Jin-won's 2nd Friendship, and Baek Dae-woong's 2nd Friendship appear. Jungjungmori is 213 to 252 out of 365 bars, and a total of 39 bars, that is, the entire part of Jungjungmori, belongs to Woojo-gil. Jungjungmori-do will be followed by Jungmori-ro, A ♭ main office Woojo-gil. Kim Hye-jung's 5th Friendship, Lee Bo-hyung's 5th Friendship, Lee Jin-won's 2nd Friendship, and Baek Dae-woong's 2nd Friendship appear. Jajinmori is 253 out of 365 barsIn the 325th bar, Woojo-gil, which belongs to Jajinmori, is developed into Woojo-gil, A ♭ main office, in the 253rd bar to 293 bar. In Jajinmori, Kim Hye-jung's 5th Friendship, Baek Dae-woong's 4th Friendship, Lee Bo-hyung's 2nd Friendship, and Lee Jin-won's 1 Friendship appear. Whimori is 326 out of 365 barsAmong them, Ujo-gil, which belongs to Whimori, is a total of 16 bars in 326 to 341 bars. Lee Jin-won's 2nd Friendship, Lee Bo-hyung's 1st Friendship, Kim Hye-jung's 1st Friendship, and Baek Dae-woong's 1 Friendship appear. As a result of analyzing the Woojo Zen method in <17 Short Sanjo for Cash> composed by Baek Dae-woong, a total of 70 out of 132 bars were Woo-jo in Jinyangjo, and a total of 23 out of 79 bars in Jungmori appeared twice. A total of 39 bars in Jungjungmori were all Woojo-gil, and Baek Dae-woong's Woojo appeared twice in total. In Jajinmori, a total of 40 out of 72 bars were Ujo, and Baek Dae-woong's Ujo appeared four times. Finally, the Whimori is a total of 16 out of 39 bars, and Baek Dae-woong's friendship is once in total. In this paper, <17 Short Sanjo for Cash> showed that in addition to the Woojo defined by Baek Dae-woong, many musicians' Woojo paths appeared, and 188 out of a total of 365 bars were composed of Woojo, that is, 51.5% of them were Sanjo creative songs. It is meaningful that many musicians can learn about the definition of Ujo, which they define slightly differently, so that it is helpful for performers to play Ujo and to play <Short Sanjo for Cash 17>.
