웹툰 활용 복합양식 문식성 기반 한국어 쓰기 교육 방안 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 중국인 고급 한국어 학습자를 위해 웹툰을 활용하여 학습자들의 복합양식 문식성을 기반으로 한 한국어 쓰기 교육 방안을 마련하는 데에 목적이 있다. 복합양식 텍스트, 복합양식 문식성, 웹툰을 활용한 읽기 및 쓰기 교육에 대한 연구사를 살피는 문헌 연구, 웹툰 <유미의 세포들>에 나타난 복합양식 언어에 대한 분석, 복합양식 텍스트로서의 웹툰 활용 복합양식 문식성을 기반으로 한 한국어 쓰기 교육 방안 제시가 주요 내용이다. 복합양식 텍스트는 문자 언어로만 구성된 인쇄 텍스트와는 달리 문자 언어뿐만 아니라 이미지나 영상 등 다양한 기호 양식의 언어가 존재한다. 다양한 기호들이 상호작용을 하면서 의미있는 정보들을 전달한다. 이러한 복합양식 텍스트에 대해서는 기존의 문자나 인쇄 환경에서 문자를 읽고 쓰는 것과는 다른 방식과 능력이 요구된다는 것을 확인하였다. 그리고 복합양식 텍스트에서 나타나는 언어들이 개별성, 구조적 관계성, 결합적 의미성을 가진다는 것을 밝혔다. 복합양식 문식성 교육은 학습자들이 문식성 함양의 주체로서 일상생활에서 녹아 있는 텍스트를 이해하고 비판적으로 바라보고 다양한 관점에서 해석할 수 있다는 시각을 길러줄 수 있다. 이에 교육 현장에서도 정보화 시대에서 요구하는 복합양식 문식성 발달 목표에 따라 효과적인 학습 방안을 마련하고 실시하여 이해 및 수용의 영역을 넘어 표현 및 창조의 능력을 같이 향상시키는 교육이 꼭 필요하다. 복합양식 텍스트로서의 웹툰 및 복합양식 문식성에 관한 이론을 다시 규정하였다. 연구 자료로는 웹툰 <유미의 세포들>을 선정하여 웹툰 <유미의 세포들>에 나타난 복합양식 언어에 대해서 형식 측면의 복합양식 언어와 내용 측면의 복합양식 언어로 나누어 분석하였다. 그 결과 웹툰 <유미의 세포들>에 나타난 형식 측면의 복합양식 언어는 주로 캐릭터, 대화창 모양, 칸 모양, 색상 및 각종 강조 효과로 나타난다. 강조 효과의 대표적인 것으로는 라인이나 라이트 효과, 글씨 크기 효과 등이 나타난다. 내용 측면의 복합양식 언어는 주로 의성어, 의태어, 대화 텍스트, 심리 묘사 텍스트, 상황 설명 텍스트로 나타났다. 이는 한국어 교육에 적용할 때 학습자들에게 웹툰에 나타난 복합양식 언어에 대한 체계적인 지식을 보여주고 학습할 수 있다는 전제가 된다. 웹툰 <유미의 세포들>에 나타난 복합양식 언어에 대한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 본고에서 연구 목표로 구성하고자 하는 복합양식 문식성 기반 한국어 쓰기 교육에 줄 수 있는 시사점을 제시하였다. 이어서 본고에서는 한국어 교육에서 웹툰이라는 새로운 소통 매체를 활용하여 학습자들의 복합양식 문식성을 배양하기 위한 한국어 쓰기 교육 방안을 구체적으로 마련하였다. 웹툰에서 각종 복합양식으로 나타난 언어들을 잘 이해하고 수용할 수 있는 능력, 웹툰이라는 매체를 통해 복합양식 텍스트를 생산할 수 있는 능력, 인공지능 웹툰 제작 프로그램을 통해 웹툰을 직접 창작할 수 있는 능력으로 교육 목표를 단계별로 설정하였다. 교육 원리로는 복합양식 텍스트의 심화 읽기와 심층적 반응 원리, 심층적 이해를 기반으로 한 복합양식 텍스트의 재생산 원리와 유희적 변환성을 활용한 재생산 텍스트 쓰기 교육 원리를 제시하였다. 웹툰에 나타난 복합양식 언어를 기반으로 교육 내용을 탐구하였으며 구체적인 교육 단계는 인식 점검으로부터 웹툰에 나타난 복합양식 언어에 대한 심화 읽기, 웹툰에 나타난 복합양식 언어의 의미를 파악하여 모방적 글쓰기 단계, 학습자들이 웹툰 복합양식 텍스트를 직접 재생산하는 창조적 글쓰기 단계, 새로운 매체 도구로서의 VR웹툰을 이용하여 웹툰을 직접 창작하는 단계로 나누어 각 단계에서의 교육 내용 및 전략을 제시하였다. 그리고 각 단계의 교수 학습안을 구체적으로 제시하여 교사와 학습자들에게 복합양식 문식성을 기반으로 한 한국어 쓰기 교육에 관한 학습 자료 및 방향을 제시하였다. 새로운 매체 환경에서 요구되는 새로운 문식성 역량을 향상시키는 복합양식 텍스트로서의 웹툰 활용 한국어 교육에 대한 이해 및 복합양식 문식성 기반 한국어 쓰기 교육 방안을 마련하였다는 데에 본 연구는 의의를 갖는다. 또한 중국인 고급 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 한 한국어 쓰기 교육에도 새로운 방향과 시사점을 줄 수 있다. 웹툰뿐만 아니라 향후 다양한 복합양식 텍스트를 활용하여 학습자들의 복합양식 문식성을 탐구하는 틀을 마련하는 데에도 시사점을 줄 수 있다. 새로운 매체 환경에서 요구되는 복합양식 문식성 역량을 신장시키는 교육에 도움이 되길 바란다.;The purpose of this study is to prepare a Korean writing education plan based on learners' complex style literacy by using webtoons as effective complex style text for high-level Chinese Korean learners. The main contents are complex style text, complex style literacy, literature research examining researchers on reading and writing education using webtoons, analysis of complex style language in webtoons <Yumi's cells>, and presentation of Korean writing education plans based on complex style literacy as complex style text. Unlike print textos, which consist only of textual language, composite text has various symbolic forms such as image and image as well as textual language. Various symbols communicate information while interacting with each other. It has been confirmed that these composite form texts require different methods and abilities than reading and writing characters in conventional text or print environments. And it was revealed that the languages appearing in the composite style text have individuality, structural relationship, and combined meaning. Complex-style literacy education can foster the view that learners can understand, critically view, and interpret the text melted in their daily lives from various perspectives as the subject of cultivating literacy. Therefore, it is essential to prepare and implement effective learning measures according to the goal of developing complex style literacy required by the information age to improve expression and creativity beyond the area of understanding and acceptance. The theory of webtoons as complex style text and complex style literacy was redefined. Focusing on webtoons, the theoretical foundation was laid for Korean writing education based on complex style literacy. In this paper, webtoon <Yumi's cells> were selected as research data, and the complex stylized language shown in webtoon <Yumi's cells> was analyzed by dividing it into a complex stylized language in terms of form and a complex stylized language in terms of content. As a result, the complex style language in terms of format shown in the webtoon <Yumi's cells> mainly appears as characters, dialog window shapes, compartment shapes, colors, and various emphasis effects. Representative of the emphasis effect include the line, light effect, and font size effect. The compound style language in terms of content was mainly in onomatopoeia, prosthetic language, dialogue text, psychological description text, and context explanation text. This presupposes that learners can show and learn systematic knowledge of complex-style languages that appeared in webtoons when applied to Korean language education. Based on the analysis results of the complex style language shown in the webtoon Yumi's Cells, this paper presents implications for Korean writing education based on the complex style literacy that is intended to be constructed as a research goal. Subsequently, this paper specifically prepared a plan for Korean writing education on how to cultivate learners' complex style literacy by using a new communication medium called webtoon in Korean language education. The educational goal was set step by step with the ability to understand and accept languages expressed in various complex styles in webtoons, the ability to produce complex text through the medium of webtoons, and the ability to create webtoons directly through artificial intelligence webtoon production programs. As educational principles, we present the principle of deep reading and in-depth reaction of complex-style text, reproduction principle of complex-style text based on in-depth understanding, and reproduction text writing education principle using playful transformation. Based on the complex language shown in webtoons, the educational content and strategy were presented at each stage, divided into deep reading of complex language shown in webtoons, imitation writing stage, creative writing stage where learners reproduce webtoon complex text, and VR webtoon as a new media tool. In addition, by specifically presenting the teaching and learning plan at each stage, learning materials and directions for Korean writing education based on complex style literacy were presented to teachers and learners. This study is meaningful in that it has prepared an understanding of Korean language education using webtoons as complex style text that improves new literacy skills required in a new media environment and a Korean writing education plan based on complex style literacy. In addition, new directions and implications can be given to Korean writing education for advanced Chinese Korean learners. In addition to webtoons, it can give implications to establish a framework for exploring learners' complex style literacy by using various complex style texts in the future. It is hoped that it will be helpful in education to enhance the complex style literacy capabilities required in a new media environment.
