Study on the influence of executive overconfidence of listed Chinese construction companies on financial risk

Abstract

This study focuses on how listed Chinese construction companies' CEO overconfidence affects financial risks，and selects the sample data of Chinese listed construction companies from 2011 to 2020, using qualitative analysis method and executive profit forecast deviation method, and draws the following conclusions: first, executive overconfidence has a positive relationship with corporate financial risk; When the executives have overconfidence behavior, it is easy to aggravate the financial risk of the enterprise. Second, there is a negative relationship between internal control quality and corporate financial risk. Third, the effectiveness of internal control mitigating the favorable effects relationship between executives' overconfidence and financial risk, and a sound internal control system can effectively restrain executives' irrational decision-making behavior; In terms of property rights, the overconfidence of senior executives of state-owned construction listed companies has a greater impact on the financial risk of enterprises than that of private construction listed companies.;본 연구는 중국 상장 건설사의 CEO 과신이 재무위험에 미치는 영향에 초점을 맞추어 질적 분석법과 경영진 이익예측편차법을 이용하여 2011년부터 2020년까지 중국 상장 건설사의 표본 데이터를 선정하고, 첫째, 경영진 과신은 다음과 같은 결론을 도출합니다. 기업 재무 위험과의 긍정적인 관계; 경영진이 과신 행동을 하면 기업의 재무 위험을 악화시키기 쉽습니다. 둘째, 내부 통제 품질과 기업 재무 위험 사이에는 부정적인 관계가 있습니다. 셋째, 경영진의 과신과 재무위험 사이의 긍정적인 영향관계를 완화하는 내부통제의 효과와 건전한 내부통제 시스템은 경영진의 비합리적인 의사결정행위를 효과적으로 억제할 수 있습니다; 재산권 측면에서 국유건설 고위 경영진의 과신.이온상장회사는 민간건설상장회사보다 기업의 재무위험에 더 큰 영향을 미칩니다.
