20대의 정서적 특징을 반영한 음성 일기 UI 디자인

Abstract

삶에 대한 흔적을 남기는 것은 인류의 역사 속에서 꾸준히 나타난 본능적인 행동이다. 인간의 두뇌를 통한 기억력의 한계점을 극복하기 위해 기록 매체는 고대 동굴 벽, 파피루스와 같은 형태에서 기술의 발전을 거쳐 점차 디지털의 형태로 전환되고 있다. 2019년 이후 스마트폰의 보급률이 90%를 넘어서며 소셜 미디어 서비스를 활용해 개인의 일상을 온라인 공간에 기록하고 공유하는 행동은 젊은 세대 내에서 자연스러운 트렌드가 되었다. 그러나 소셜 미디어를 활용한 과시 문화가 지속되자 피로감을 호소하는 사용자가 늘어나며 20대 사용자를 중심으로 서비스 이탈률이 점차 증가하고 있다. 이에 이탈한 사용자들은 새로운 일상 공간을 찾으며 소외되었던 기록 서비스가 다시 이슈화 되고 있다. 디지털 기록에 대한 수요가 점차 늘어가고 있음에도 불구하고 기록 서비스들은 여전히 텍스트 중심의 기록 방식을 제안하고 있다. 효율적이고 가성비를 중요시하고 자기표현과 강한 개성을 추구하는 20대 사용자에게 텍스트 중심의 기록방식은 기록을 시도하는 것에 대해 부정적인 효과를 일으킬 수 있다. 이에 선행연구 조사를 바탕으로 텍스트 기록에 비해 빠르고 간편한 음성 기록의 이점과 필요성에 대해 도출하였고, 나아가 일상 기록에 적합한 음성 인식 기술을 중심으로 기술 현황을 파악하였다. 사례 연구를 통해 일상 기록 앱 중에서 음성 기록을 활용한 사례를 선정한 뒤 분석한 결과 음성을 활용한 일상 기록은 회고의 과정보다는 정확한 음성 기록에 초점을 두고 있다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 대부분의 음성 기록 서비스가 일상 기록이 아닌 메모의 목적을 두고 있음을 확인하였고, 일상 기록을 위한 차별화된 음성 일상 기록 서비스의 필요성을 발견하였다. 음성 일상 기록에 대한 구체적인 니즈를 발견하기 위해 높은 빈도로 일상 기록을 행하는 사용자를 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 통한 사용자 조사를 진행하였고 그 결과 사용자들은 음성 일상 기록에 대한 심리적 불안감을 느끼고 있으며, 음성 파일의 특성상 회고 상황에서의 비효율성을 완화할 수 있는 사용자 경험 디자인의 필요성을 도출하였다. 이후 사용자 답변 데이터를 활용한 어피니티 다이어그램 정리를 통해 ‘레이블’을 활용한 서비스 핵심 UX를 중심으로 구체적인 서비스의 방향성을 정의하였다. 또한 핵심 사용자 목소리를 바탕으로 효율적인 기록을 추구하는 Primary Persona와 감정 중심적인 기록을 선호하는 Secondary Persona를 설계하였고, 퍼소나의 요구사항을 바탕으로 서비스의 핵심 기능과 목표를 설정하였다. 서비스의 주목표는 텍스트 기록에 비해 간편한 음성 기록을 통해 기록의 지속성을 높이고 레이블을 활용해 기록물에 대한 효율적인 관리와 부담스럽지 않은 회고과정으로 정의하였다. 도출한 서비스 콘셉트와 방향성에 맞춰 음성 일상 기록 서비스의 기록 화면과 기록 재생 화면을 디자인하여 사용성 평가를 진행하였다. 본 연구는 디지털 기록으로 기록 형태가 전환되고 있음에도 주 기록 방식으로 활용되고 있는 텍스트 중심적인 기록이 아닌 음성 기록 대한 니즈를 바탕으로 일상 기록에 있어서 음성 기록 방식의 가능성을 제안하고, 음성 기록의 회고 과정에서 레이블을 활용한 사용자 경험을 제안해 기록 회상 과정에 대하여 생생하고 부담스럽지 않은 몰입의 경험을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.;Leaving traces of life is an instinctive behavior that has steadily emerged in human history. In order to overcome the limitations of memory through the human brain, recording media are gradually transforming from forms such as ancient cave walls and papyrus to digital forms through technological advances. Since 2019, the penetration rate of smartphones has exceeded 90%, and the behavior of recording and sharing an individual's daily life in an online space using social media services has become a natural trend within the younger generation. However, as the culture of showing off using social media continues, the number of users complaining of fatigue increases, and the rate of service departure is gradually increasing, especially among users in their 20s.As a result, the recording service, which had been marginalized by users looking for a new daily space, is becoming an issue again. Despite the growing demand for digital recording, recording services still propose a text-oriented recording method. For users in their 20s who value efficiency and cost-effectiveness and pursue self-expression and strong personality, text-oriented recording methods can have a negative effect on trying to record. Accordingly, based on the previous research survey, the advantages and needs of voice recording, which is faster and easier than text recording, were derived, and furthermore, the technology status was identified focusing on voice recognition technology suitable for daily recording. The case study selected and analyzed cases using voice records among daily recording apps and confirmed that daily records using voice focus on accurate voice records rather than the process of retrospect. Also confirmed that most voice recording services are aimed at memo rather than daily recording, and found the need for differentiated voice daily recording services for daily recording. In-depth interviews were conducted with users who perform daily recordings at high frequency to discover specific needs for voice daily recordings, and the results show that users feel psychological anxiety about voice daily recordings and derive the need for user experience design to alleviate inefficiency in retrospective situations. After that, through the affinity diagram theorem using user answer data, the specific direction of the service was defined, focusing on the core UX of the service using the 'label'. In addition, I designed Primary Persona, which pursues efficient recording based on core user voices, and Secondary Persona, which prefers emotion-driven recording, and set key functions and goals for services based on persona's requirements. The service's main goal was to increase the continuity of the record through easier voice recording than text recording, and to use labels to efficiently manage the record and to review it without burden. Usability evaluation was conducted by designing a recording screen and a recording playback screen of a voice daily recording service according to the derived service concept and direction. This study suggests the possibility of voice recording in daily records based on the need for voice recording, not text-based recording, and suggests a user experience using labels in the retrospective process of voice recording to provide a vivid and non-burden immersion experience in the recording recall process.
