Blue의 상징성을 주제로 한 도자 조형 연구

Abstract

This study is a study on recognizing that depressed emotions that could not be resolved through tears have accumulated inside the researcher. She has encountered limitations in accepting and expressing these emotions through the molding process. For the researcher, blue was left as the first impression of sadness with a memory of a sudden breakup with a friend who liked blue as a child. In addition, through various experiences learned and realized while growing up, the researcher recognized blue as the color of depression itself. Therefore, to explore the researcher's emotional inner side, the emotional meaning of color is considered based on this. The historical, symbolic, and emotional expression of blue among colors examined theoretically to express inner emotions using gloomy blue. Based on this, we explored the changes in historical value and various symbolic images to broaden our understanding of blue. Moreover, explore the sources of negative images such as blue depression, coldness, and darkness through the color theory of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Wassily Kandinsky. In addition, we tried to change the researcher's perception of blue by analyzing the work of Pablo Picasso and Yves Klein. Picasso used blue as a color of negative emotions as the researcher, and Klein used blue differently from the researcher to change the perception of waves fixed to the researcher. In the researcher's work, blue is a symbol that reveals negative emotions such as depression and appears in all works. In the later part of the work, the researcher gradually recognizes the blue color itself as a lump of depression and changes into a liquid state in which the shape flows. The blue lump in the form of a changed liquid became a shape that showed tears, poison, and flowing emotions to the researcher and became a means of directly revealing the researcher's emotions. In this study, the researcher aims to be meaningful to recognize the depression and negative emotions left in her mind and to express the inner depression symbolically by using the color Blue to work on the soil in a visible form. ;본 연구는 연구자의 내면에 눈물을 통해서도 해소되지 못한 우울한 감정이 쌓여 이를 받아드릴 수 있는 한계에 맞닥뜨렸음을 인식하고 연구 과정을 통해 우울한 감정을 마주하고 조형작업을 하는 과정에서 이 감정들을 표현하는 것에 대한 연구이다. 연구자에게 파랑은 유년시절 파란색을 좋아했던 친구와의 갑작스러운 이별에 대한 기억과 함께 슬픔의 첫 인상으로 남겨졌다. 또한, 성장하면서 배우고 깨닫게 되는 여러 가지 경험을 통하여 파란색은 연구자에게 우울함 그 자체의 색으로 고정되어 인식되었다. 따라서 연구자의 감정적 내면을 탐구하고자 이를 바탕으로 색채가 주는 감정적 의미를 고찰하고 색채 가운데 파란색이 내포하고 있는 역사적, 상징적 의미, 감정적 표현 등을 이론적으로 살펴봄으로써 조형 예술을 통해 내면의 감정을 우울한 Blue를 사용하여 표현하고자 한다. 이를 바탕으로 파란색이 가진 역사적 가치 변화와 여러 가지 다양한 상징적 이미지를 탐구하여 파란색에 대한 이해를 더 넓히고자 하였고 요한 볼프강 폰 괴테(Johann Wolfgang von Goethe)와 바실리 칸딘스키(Wassily Kandinsky)의 색채론을 통해 파랑의 우울함, 차가움, 어두움과 같은 부정적인 이미지에 대한 근원을 찾아보고자 하였다. 또한, 연구자와 같은 우울한 감정의 색채로써 파랑을 사용한 파블로 피카소(Pablo Picasso)와 연구자와 다른 의미로써 파랑을 사용한 이브 클랭(Yves Klein)의 작업을 분석하여 연구자에게 고정된 파랑에 대한 인식을 변화해보고자 하였다. 연구자의 작업에서 파랑은 우울함과 같은 부정적인 감정을 드러내는 상징이며 모든 작업에서 나타난다. 연구자는 작업의 후반 과정에서 점점 파란 색채 자체를 우울함의 덩어리로 인식하면서 형태가 흘러내리는 액체상태로 변화한다. 변화된 액체 형태의 파란 덩어리는 연구자에게 눈물, 독, 흘러나오는 감정을 나타내는 형상이 되었고 연구자의 감정을 직접적으로 드러내는 수단이 되었다. 본 연구에서 연구자는 마음속에 남겨진 우울하고 부정적인 감정들을 인식하고, 흙을 매체로 조형작업을 하는 과정에서 내면의 우울한 감정을 Blue라는 색채를 상징적으로 사용하여 가시적인 형태로 표현하는 것에 의의를 두고자 한다.
