부모의 도덕적 이탈 유도가 청소년의 도덕적 이탈을 통해 청소년의 반응적 공격성에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 고등학생 1, 2학년을 대상으로 어머니와 아버지의 도덕적 이탈 유도가 청소년의 반응적 공격성에 미치는 직접 경로와 청소년의 도덕적 이탈을 통한 간접 경로를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 고등학생 1, 2학년 253명을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였고, 질문지법을 사용하여 청소년의 자기보고를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 부모의 도덕적 이탈 유도를 측정하기 위해서는 Zych, Gómez-Ortiz, Touceda, Nasaescu와 Llorent(2020)가 개발한 부모의 도덕적 이탈 유도(The Perceived Parental Moral Disengagement Induction Questionnaire)를 연구자가 번안한 척도를 사용하였으며, 어머니와 아버지의 도덕적 이탈 유도에 대해 각각 응답하도록 하였다. 청소년의 도덕적 이탈은 Bandura(1996)가 개발한 도덕적 이탈 기제 척도(Mechanism of Moral Disengagement Scale; MMDS)를 서미정과 김경연(2006)이 번안하고 수정한 척도를 사용하여 측정하였으며, 청소년의 반응적 공격성은 Buss와 Durkee(1957)가 제작한 BDH (Buss Durkee Hostility Inventory)에 기초하여 노안녕(1983)이 번안하고 김정임(2003)이 사용한 척도를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료를 분석하기 위하여 경로분석 및 간접효과 검증을 실시하였고, 간접효과의 유의성을 살펴보기 위해 부트스트래핑(bootstrapping)방법을 설정하였다. 본 연구의 연구문제에 따른 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아버지의 도덕적 이탈 유도는 청소년의 반응적 공격성에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤으나, 어머니의 도덕적 이탈 유도는 청소년의 반응적 공격성에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않았다. 청소년의 반응적 공격을 즉각 유발하는 데에는 아버지의 언어적 자극만이 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 어머니와 아버지의 도덕적 이탈 유도가 모두 청소년의 도덕적 이탈에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 부모의 도덕적 이탈 유도를 자녀가 높게 지각할수록 청소년의 도덕적 이탈 수준은 높았다. 셋째, 청소년의 도덕적 이탈은 반응적 공격성에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 인지왜곡 과정인 도덕적 이탈 수준이 높을수록, 적대적 귀인과정을 거치는 반응적 공격성이 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 어머니와 아버지의 도덕적 이탈 유도가 청소년의 도덕적 이탈을 통해 반응적 공격성에 간접적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 청소년 자녀가 부모의 도덕적 이탈 유도를 높게 지각할수록 청소년의 도덕적 이탈이 높고, 반응적 공격성 또한 높아졌다. 본 연구는 어머니와 아버지의 도덕적 이탈 유도가 청소년의 도덕적 이탈을 통해 반응적 공격성에 미치는 경로를 확인하였으며, 그 경로에 있어 어머니와 아버지가 미치는 영향력의 차이를 발견하였다는 데 의의가 있다. 또한 청소년의 반응적 공격성에 영향을 미치는 환경 요인인 부모의 도덕적 이탈 유도와 개인 내적 요인인 도덕적 이탈의 영향을 함께 살펴봄으로써, 청소년의 반응적 공격성 예방 및 감소를 위해 도덕적 인지 측면의 중요성을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 본 연구는 청소년 자녀의 도덕 발달에 영향을 미치는 부모의 도덕적 판단과 유도의 영향력에 대한 부모교육프로그램 활용과 청소년의 인지왜곡과정과 같은 도덕적 인지 개입의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. ;The main purpose of the study was to examine the effects of parent’s moral disengagement induction on adolescent’s reactive aggression through adolescent’s moral disengagement. A total of 253 hight school students (115 boys and 138 girls) completed a self-report questionnaire, including measures of parent’s moral disengagement and adolescent’s moral disengagement and reactive aggression. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlations, path analysis. Also, bootstrapping were performed to confirm the significance of the indirect effect. The main findings of this study were as follows: First, father’s moral disengagement induction did have a direct effects on adolescent's reactive aggression. On the other hand, the mother’s moral disengagement induction did not have a direct effects on adolescent's reactive aggression. In other words, only the verbal stimulation of the father affects the responsive aggression of adolescents. Second, Both mother and father's moral disengagement induction had a significant effect on adolescent's moral disengagement. Adolescents who parent’s moral disengagement induction showed higher level of adolescent's moral disengagement, and higher level of moral disengagement contributed to reactive aggression. Third, adolescent's moral disengagement did have a significant effect on adolescent's reactive aggression. Lastly, parent’s moral disengagement induction had an indirect effect on adolescents' reactive aggression through moral disengagement. In conclusion, this study emphasizes the importance of moral disengagement as a mediator between parent’s moral disengagement induction and adolescent's reactive aggression. These results can be used on the development of parent education programs or moral enhancement programs for the prevention and reduction of adolescent’s reactive aggression and problem behavior.
