Abstract

본 논문은 본인의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주 프로그램인 요한 세바스찬 바흐(Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750)의 Sonata in g minor BWV1020, 프란츠 슈베르트(Franz Schubert, 1797-1828)의 Introducktion und Variationen D.802 "Trockene Blumen" from "Die schöne Mullerin", 필립 고베르(Philippe Gaubert, 1879-1941)의 Nocturne et Allegro Scherzando for Flute and Piano, 엘딘 버튼(Eldin Burton, 1913-1985)의 Sonatina for Flute and Piano를 중심으로 연구하였다. 바로크 시대 작곡의 대가인 요한 세바스찬 바흐의 Sonata in g minor는 바흐가 1730년대에 작곡한 플루트 소나타 8개중 실내, 교회소나타에 포함하는 작품이다. 이 작품은 3악장 구성으로 Allegro - Adagio - Allegro의 빠르기를 가진 전형적인 바로크 시대의 소나타 특성을 띄고 있다. 19세기 낭만주의 작곡가인 프란츠 슈베르트의 Introducktion und Variationen D.802 "Trockene Blumen" from "Die schöne Mullerin"는 문학과 음악이 결합된 형태인 예술가곡으로 문학적 소재와 피아노의 다양한 표현능력을 돋보이게 하는 작품이다. 이 작품은 슈베르트가 빌헬름 뮐러(Wilhelm Muller, 1794-1827)의 시에 바탕을 두고 작곡한 첫 연가곡집 “아름다운 물방앗간의 아가씨” 중에서 제 18번 “시든 꽃(Trockene Blumen)”을 주제로 플루트와 피아노를 위한 변주곡으로 작곡한 작품이다. 프랑스의 플루티스트, 작곡가 및 지휘자였던 필립 고베르의 Nocturne et Allegro Scherzando for Flute and Piano는 당시 인상주의 작곡가였던 드뷔시와 라벨의 영향을 많이 받아 인상주의 시대의 음악의 특징인 몽환적인 분위기와 폭넓은 색채가 드러나는 작품이다. 미국의 피아니스트 및 지휘자 엘딘 버튼의 Sonatina for Flute and Piano는 그가 줄리어드 음대 시절 피아노 연습곡으로 작곡했던 곡을 플루트 소나타로 재편집한 작품으로 1948년 ‘New York Flute Club’ 대회에서 수상하였다. 이 작품은 미국의 전원을 연상케 하는 1악장과 교회선법을 사용하여 인상주의의 특징이 드러나는 2악장, 스페인 춤곡의 리듬을 사용하여 매혹적이고 화려한 분위기의 3악장이 특징이다.;This thesis is written focusing on researcher's programs of Master's degree graduation concert which is composed of Sonata in g minor BWV.1020 by Johann Sebastian Bach(1685-1750), Introducktion und Variationen D.802 "Trockene Blumen" from "Die schöne Mullerin" of Franz Schubert(1797-1828), Nocturne et Allegro Scherzando for Flute and Piano of Philippe Gaubert(1879-1941), Sonata for Flute and piano of Eldin Burton(1913-1985). Sonata in g minor BWV.1020 of Johann Sebastian Bach who is the virtuoso for in the Baroque era, is a church sonata. As one of the J.S.Bach's eight flute sonatas, the work was composed in the 1730s. This work is composed of three movements and has the characteristics of a typical Baroque sonata with the tempo of Allegro-Adagio-Allegro. Introducktion und Variationen D.802 "Trockene Blumen" from "Die schöne Mullerin" by one of the 19th century Romantic composer Franz Schubert is an artistic piece(Kunstlied) that combines literature and music. In this work, the literary materials and various expressivity of piano are accentuated that enhances a variety of expressive abilities. This work was composed as a variation for flute and piano with the theme of "Trockene Blumen" which is the 18th of the F.Schubert's first 'song cycle' collection "Die schöne Mullerin" based on the poem of Wilhelm Muller. French flutist, composer and conductor Philippe Gaubert's Nocturne et Allegro Scherzando for flute and Piano is affected by Impressionism composers, Claude Debussy and Maurice Label who were Impressionism composers at the time. So that this piece reveals the dreamy atmosphere and wide range of colors that are characteristic of Impressionism music. American pianist and conductor Eldin Burton's Sonatina for Flute and Piano which won an award at New York Flute Club Tournament in 1948 is a re-edited version for the piano piece. The original version was composed for Piano etude when he was studying at Juilliard School. The first movement of this work features reminiscent of American rural. Second movement shows the characteristics of Impressionism atmosphere. in music by using the church modes, Also third movement use the Spanish dance "fandango" rhythm to create a fascinating and gorgeous.
