한·중 성장소설 비교를 통한 소설교육 방안 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 중국 대학교 한국어 전공자를 대상으로, 한·중 성장소설 비교를 통한 소설교육 방안을 모색하는 데 목적을 둔다. 이를 바탕으로 중국 대학교의 한국어 전공 학습자의 언어 능력, 문화 능력, 문학 능력을 신장하고 동시에 한국 성장소설과 중국 성장소설에 대한 인식과 문화 차이에 대한 이해를 심화하고자 한다. Ⅰ장에서는 현재 중국 대학교의 한국어학과에서 실시하고 있는 한국어 교육과정의 한계점을 검토하고 전공자들에게 더 높은 수준의 한국어 교육과정을 제공해야 한다는 필요성을 확인하였다. 그리고 학습자들에게 성장소설의 적합성을 조명하고 비교문학적 방법을 도입하는 우세를 제시하였다. 마지막으로 관련된 선행연구를 논의하고 연구 대상과 연구 방법을 확정하였다. Ⅱ장에서는 한·중 성장소설 비교를 통한 한국어교육의 이론적 배경을 검토하였다. 먼저, 성장소설의 일반적인 개념 및 특징을 확인한 후 양국 성장소설의 흐름과 개념 및 특징을 살펴보았다. 다음에는 한국어 문학교육에서 비교문학의 의의와 성장소설 비교를 활용한 교육적 의의를 논의하였다. 한국어 문학교육에서 비교문학의 개념을 고찰해서 서로 영향이나 수용 관계가 없는 대비연구를 선정하였다. 성장소설 비교를 활용한 교육적 의의를 어문 능력 향상의 개선, 비교문학을 통한 문화 이해, 상호문화적 태도의 형성과 학습자의 내적 성장 촉진 4가지로 나누어 제시하였다. Ⅲ장에서는 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 성장소설 비교를 통한 소설교육 방안을 모색하기 위해 작품 선정 기준을 제시하고, 이에 따라 한국 작가 박완서의 ｢엄마의 말뚝1｣과 중국 작가 임해음(林海音)의 『성남구사(城南舊事)』를 선정하였다. 부권부재와 성장을 중심으로 ｢엄마의 말뚝1｣을 분석한 결과 부권부재로 인한 모계 중심의 가족 구조 속에서 주인공"나”에게 끼친 영향은 성장 과정에서 자아 정체성 혼란의 위기까지 불러왔다. 또 『성남구사(城南舊事)』에서 이별과 성장에 중심을 놓고 살폈는데， 많은 이별을 경험했던 주인공 영자가 아버지와 이별을 통해 든든한 성인으로 성장하고 자주적 탐색으로 여성으로서의 자아 정체성을 확립하였다. 이에 따라 사상 충돌, 여성 의식 성장, 작가 개인의 성장 경험과의 관계 등 측면에서 비교함으로써 근대 사회·역사적 배경을 가진 두 작품의 공통점과 차이점을 분석하였다. 다음에는 문화 분류를 검토해서 성취문화, 언어문화와 관념문화에 따라 작품에서 나오는 문화적 어휘와 문화적 측면에서의 교육적 내용을 살펴보았다. 문학적 측면에서 성장소설의 장르적 특징, 구성 요소, 주제와 성장 모티프를 검토하였다. Ⅳ장에서는 이상의 연구 내용을 기초로 한·중 성장소설 비교를 통한 소설교육 방안을 마련하였다. 우선, 소설교육의 교육 목표 6개를 설정하고 목표에 달성할 수 있는 4단계 교수·학습 모형을 제시하였다. 앞서 제시한 교육적 내용에서 교육 목표와 교수·학습 모형에 적합한 소설교육의 내용을 문화적 어휘, 문화와 문학 3가지 측면에 다시 선정하였다. 마지막으로 실제적인 소설교육 방안을 설계했을 때 계획 단계, 진단 단계, 수업 단계와 내면화 단계로 나누어 진행하였다. 계획 단계에서 전체적인 교육적 목표를 설정하며, 진단 단계를 통해 학습자의 기존 지식을 판단하고 재활성화한다. 계획 단계와 진단 단계를 전제로 수업단계와 내면화 단계에서 구체적인 학습 내용 및 활동을 조정하고 수행한다. 본 연구는 비교문학적 방법을 도입하여 성장소설의 활용을 통해 중국 대학교에서 한국어를 전공하는 학습자의 언어 능력, 문화 능력, 문학 능력을 향상하고 문화 차이에 대한 이해를 심화하는 소설교육 방안을 탐색하였다는 데 의의가 있다. 다만 실제 교육현장에서 본 연구를 실제적으로 검증하지 못한 아쉬움이 남으므로, 본 연구를 바탕으로 성장소설을 활용한 한국어 교육 관련 논의가 이어지기를 기대하는 바이다. ;This study focuses on comparing Korean and Chinese growth novel, aimed at students majoring in Korean in China's University, to explore the education possibility that novels can offer. It manages to strengthen the students' capability of understanding language, literature and culture. Moreover, the analysis of Korean and Chinese growth novel will help the students comprehend culture differences. Chapter I analyses the limitations of the current Korean language curriculum in Chinese universities to prove the necessity of providing a higher-level education system for college students. It also presents why it is reasonable to introduce growth novel comparative literary methods to illustrate the necessity. This chapter will examine the relevant literature studies, the research object and the method. Chapter II compares Korean and Chinese growth novel to explore the theoretical backgrounds of Korean language study. This chapter will first illustrate the concept and the feature of the genre, growth novel. Based on the history of the genre in two countries, their unique characteristics will be clarified. After that, it will clarify the education significance of comparative literature in Korean language study and the comparison between different growth novel. The comparison is between novels that do not affect each other under the concept of comparative literature in the field of Korean literature study. By understanding the education significance of comparison between different growth novel, the analysis is based four goals: improving language ability, understanding culture by applying comparative literature, forming mutual cultural attitudes and improving learners' inner growth. Chapter Ⅲ is based on the theoretical background. To explore the education plan by comparing growth novel, this chapter chooses two novels as examples. The analysis shows the similarities and differences between Korean novelist Park Wan-suh's Mother's Stake. 1 and Chinese writer Lin Haiyin's Memories of Peking: South Side Stories. The notion of culture is clarified into culture, language culture and conceptional culture. Under this catalogue, the education-related vocabulary and culture are examined. Chapter IV formulates an education plan based on the comparison between Korea and Chinese growth novel. First, this chapter determines the aim of the plan and the teaching-learning model. The general content of this plan originates from the previous research, and it is consistent with the aim and the model. What's more, this plan is dived into four stages: planning stage, diagnosis stage, teaching stage and internalisation stage. This research compares growth novel in two culture to explore the potential methods for improving the Korean-major students' ability of learning language, literature and culture to understand culture differences. However, there are not enough practical case analysis in this filed. Thus, I hope that this research provides a feasibility for teachers to employ growth novel in real life.
