중국유학생의 한국유학생활에서의 음악활용 실태

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 유학생들의 음악활용 유형과 실태를 알아보는 것으로, 재한 중국유학생을 대상으로 유학 이전과 유학 이후 음악활동 변화를 알아보기 위해 총 5개 국내 대학교 학부과정에 재학 중인 중국 유학생을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 설문 조사는 URL을 통해 연구 참여자들의 동의를 얻은 후 시행되었으며, 온라인 설문 조사를 통해 음악활동 유형, 시간, 참여 방식, 동반자, 사용하는 장르에 대한 내용을 수집하였다. 총 145부의 설문지가 회수되어 분석한 결과, 첫째, 문화 환경의 변화는 유학생의 음악활동 유형 중 노래 부르기와 악기 연주 활동에 영향을 미치지만 음악 감상활동에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 재한 중국유학생이 가장 많이 사용하는 음악활동 유형은 유학 이전과 유학 이후 모두 음악 감상이고, 다음으로는 노래 부르기와 악기 연주 순이었다. 중국유학생들은 음악 감상은 문화 환경의 변화와 무관하게 활용하였고, 노래 부르기와 악기 연주 활동은 문화 환경의 변화에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 재한 중국유학생이 선택하는 음악 장르는 한국 거주기간에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 한국 거주 기간 4년 이하의 중국유학생은 중국 현대 음악을 선택하는 비율과 유사하게 한국 현대 음악을 선택하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 한국 거주 4년 이상의 중국유학생은 한국 현대 음악 보다 중국 현대 음악을 더 많이 선택하는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 문화 환경의 변화가 음악활동에 영향을 미치는 것이 확인된다는 점에서 의의가 있다. ;The purpose of this study is to find out the types and actual conditions of music use by international students, and to understand the changes in music activities during the prior course of study abroad for Chinese international students in Korea. To this end, Idistributed questionnaires to Chinese international students in five schools within S City. Each questionnaire has 19 questions. Contains basic personal information, the type of music activity, the duration of the music activity, the way to participate in the music activity, the people who participate in the music activity, and the music genre used in the music activity. A total of 145 questionnaires were collected. According to the conclusions, first, it was found that the change of cultural environment had an effect on singing and playing musical instruments among the types of musical activities of international students, but not on music appreciation activities. The most common types of musical activities used by Chinese students in Korea were listening to music both before and during study abroad, followed by singing and playing musical instruments. Chinese students used music appreciation regardless of changes in the cultural environment, and singing and playing musical instruments were found to be affected by changes in the cultural environment. Second, it was confirmed that the music genre selected by Chinese students in Korea differs depending on the period of stay in Korea. It was found that Chinese students who lived in Korea for less than 4 years choose contemporary Korean music, similar to the rate of choosing contemporary Chinese music. On the other hand, it has been confirmed that Chinese students living in Korea for more than 4 years choose contemporary Chinese music more than Korean contemporary music. The results of this study are significant in that it is confirmed that changes in the cultural environment affect music activities.
