디지털 네트워크에서의 욕망을 주제로 한 무용창작작품 「심다.」에 관한 연구

Abstract

인간은 끊임없이 욕망하는 존재로 자신에게 부족한 것을 채움과 동시에 지속해서 욕망을 생성한다. 현대사회는 디지털 네트워크를 기반으로 빠르게 변화하는 시대로, 인간은 네트워크 안에서 타인과 더불어 다양한 공간과 문화를 발전시키고 물질적 풍요로움 속에서 끊임없이 새로움을 추구하면서 이상적인 삶에 도달하고자 욕망을 갖고 살아간다. 이에 연구자는 인간이 현대사회에서 욕망을 갖는 의미에 탈주개념을 적용하여 디지털 네트워크 속 인간 욕망의 다양성과 필요성에 대해 말하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 디지털 네트워크에서 욕망을 주제로 한 무용창작작품「심다.」(2019)에 관한 분석으로 이루어졌다. 작품의 주제 및 내용, 장면별 구성과 무대공간의 사용, 무용수의 이동경로와 움직임, 오브제의 의미를 통해 작품의 의미가 부각될 수 있도록 안무하였다. 장면별 공간구성과 오브제에 상징적 의미를 부여하여 탈주된 욕망이 새로운 욕망을 생성하는 과정을 효과적으로 묘사하고자 하였으며, 이를 통해 욕망은 인간을 발전하도록 이끄는 원동력임을 나타내고자 하였다. 욕망을 인간의 본질로 바라보고 내면에서 생성되는 욕망이 디지털 네트워크를 통해 탈주 되어 인간뿐만 아니라 사회 곳곳에 다양한 영향을 끼치는 과정을 나타내어 욕망의 생성과 확장, 인식의 변화를 이루는 내용을 담아 작품을 총 세 장으로 구성하여 전개하였다. 작품의 1장에서는 인간 내면에 자리 잡은 욕망을 인지하고 자발적으로 욕망을 생성하여 정신과 육체를 이끄는 인간의 본능적인 모습을 표현하고자 상수 앞과 하수 뒤에 화분, 비닐 오브제를 각각 위치하고 하수 앞을 A공간으로 구성하여 인간의 내면을 상징하도록 설정하였다. A공간 안에서 손으로 등을 쓸어 올리거나 허공을 향해 손을 뻗고, 동작의 반복과 속도의 변화를 사용하여 나타내었다. 낮은 위치에서 지속적으로 손을 뻗는 동작과 단계별로 밟아 올라가는 높이의 변화를 통해 욕망의 무한성에 적응하며 생산적으로 발전되어가는 모습을 나타내었다. 기타 음악의 단선율을 사용하여 인간 내면의 심리와 지난 경험, 다양한 정보에 의해 새로운 욕망의 생성을 나타내었다. 2장에서는 내면에 존재하던 욕망이 외부로 표출되어 사회에 다양한 영향을 미치는 과정을 하수에서 상수로 이동하는 공간의 범위 확장과 오브제를 향하는 움직임을 반복 사용하여 나타내고자 하였다. 오브제인 화분을 짧게 터치하는 모습으로 디지털 미디어에 강한 호기심과 의존성을 가지며 내면의 욕망이 생산성으로 변화됨을 표현하였다. 무대 중앙에서 오브제를 바라보며 신체 사용의 다양화와 범위가 큰 동작을 구사하여 디지털 매체가 인간에게 끊임없이 호기심을 불러일으켜 새로운 욕망을 생성하는 과정을 표현하였으며 신체 방향과 동작의 에너지의 대조를 사용하여 욕망의 주체가 타자로부터 생성되는 모습을 나타내었다. 바이올린의 느린 선율에 타악기의 효과음을 더하여 욕망이 사회적으로 표출되는 장면의 주제를 강조하였다. 3장은 지속적으로 발전되는 정보화시대에 욕망의 탈주를 비닐 오브제의 점유와 무용수의 회전, 동작의 높낮이 극대화를 통해 나타내고자 하였다. 동작의 속도 변화 후 상승되는 공간의 높이를 통해 끊임없이 재탄생 되는 욕망의 흐름을 나타내었다. 오브제를 점유하는 적극성과 세밀함으로 사회적 인식의 변화를 표현하였으며, 팔다리의 큰 동작을 자유롭게 사용하여 욕망의 표출을 용이하게 나타내었다. 음악 템포의 절정, 오브제의 공간 이동, 무용수와의 결합을 통해 욕망의 잠재력과 긍정적인 에너지를 나타내고자 하였다. 본 연구는 욕망을 유동적 특성을 가진 대상으로 바라보고 디지털 미디어라는 매체 안에서 욕망이 다양하고 폭넓게 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 무용창작작품「심다.」(2019)로 창작하였다. 작품은 욕망에 대한 기존의 부정적 인식으로부터 벗어나 인간 본연의 창조적 존재로서 찾아가는 삶을 지속적으로 영위하는데 기여할 수 있는 욕망의 의미를 전달하고자 하였다.;Man is a constantly desired being who fills in what he lacks and generates desires continuously at the same time. Modern society is a rapidly changing era based on digital networks, where humans live with a desire to reach an ideal life while developing diverse spaces and cultures with others within the network and constantly seeking newness in material abundance. Therefore, the researcher wanted to speak about the diversity and necessity of human desire in digital networks by applying a de-out concept to the meaning of human desire in modern society. This study was conducted as an analysis of the desire-themed newly choreographed work "Simda" (2019) on digital networks. The theme and content of the work, the composition of the scene and the use of stage space, the moving route and movement of the dancers, and the meaning of the objects were choreographed to highlight the meaning of the work. By granting symbolic meaning to the spatiality and object by scene, the desire was to effectively depict the process of generating new desires, through which desire was the driving force that led to the development of human beings. By looking at desire as the essence of man and representing the process by which the desire generated from the inside is dislocated through digital networks, giving various influences not only on humans but throughout society, the works were developed in three chapters with content that constitutes the creation, expansion, and change of perception of desire. In chapter 1 of the work, to express the instinctive appearance of man leading the spirit and body by voluntarily generating desires to recognize the desires established within man, the pots and vinyl objects are located in front of stge right and behind the stge left, respectively, and the front of stge left is configured as A space to symbolize the inner self of man. We let him sweep his back with his hands or reach out to the air in A space, which was represented by using repetition and speed changes in motion. Through continuously reaching out from a low position and a step-by-step change in height, it adapts to the infinity of desire and develops productively. Using the one-line rate of guitar music showed the creation of new desires by human inner psychology and past experiences, various information. In the Chapter 2, the desires that existed in the inner part are expressed to the outside, and the process of various influences on society was repeatedly used to expand the range of space from the stge left to the stge right and to move towards the object. With a brief touch of an object pot, he expressed his strong curiosity and dependence on digital media and that his inner desires were transformed by productivity. Looking at the object from the center of the stage, the diversification and range of body use made great use of the movement, expressing the process by which the digital medium constantly arouses curiosity in humans to generate new desires, and uses the contrast of body orientation and energy of motion to show the appearance of the desire subject being generated from the other. The violin's slow melodies were added by the effects of percussion, emphasizing the theme of the scene where desire is socially expressed. The Chapter 3 was to represent the desire's dislocation in the continuously developing information age through the occupancy of vinyl art, the rotation of dancers, and the maximization of the pitch of movement. It showed a flow of desire that is constantly re-born through the height of the space rising after the speed change of movement. Expressed a change in social awareness with the aggressiveness and fineness of occupying the object, the large movement of the arms and legs was represented to facilitate the expression of desire. Through the climax of the musical tempo, the movement of space of the object, and the combination with the dancers, we were to show the potential and positive energy of desire. This study was created as a newly choreographed work "Simda" (2019) that looks at desire as an object with fluid characteristics and that desire can have a wide range of influences in the medium of digital media. The work wanted to convey the meaning of the desire, which can contribute to establishing existence as the essence of man and contribute to the continued existence of life, away from the existing negative perception of desire.
