Abstract

본 논문은 본인의 석사과정 졸업연주 프로그램인 F. Haydn,「Piano Sonata in E♭ Major, Hob.XVI: 49」, R. Schumann,「Humoreske, Op. 20」, A. Scriabin, 「Piano Sonata in g# minor, Op. 19」, A. Schonberg,「Six Little Piano Pieces, Op. 19」 의 작품배경과 분석을 통해 연구하고자 한다. 하이든(F. Haydn, 1732-1809)은 고전주의 소나타 양식을 완성한 전고전주의 대표적인 작곡가 중 한 명으로 피아노 소나타를 총 52곡 작곡하였는데 이 중 후기 소나타 「Piano Sonata in E♭ Major, Hob.XVI: 49」는 1악장은 단일 주제가 돋보이는 200마디 규모의 큰 작품이고, 2악장의 서정성과 긴장감은 이 곡에서 중요한 위치를 가진다. 3악장은 2개의 주제를 가진 론도형식인데 론도와 변주곡이 합친 것 같은 신선한 형식으로 구성되어 있다. 슈만(R. Schumann, 1810-1856)은 독창적인 음악세계를 구축해 나간 19세기 전반에 활동한 대표적인 작곡가이다. 「Humoreske, Op. 20」은 1839년에 작곡된 대표적인 성격소품으로서 총 5개의 독립적인 곡이 겹세로줄의 사용으로 연속하여 이어진다. 다양한 템포와 리듬, 불협화음, 조성의 변화 등으로 낭만주의의 시적인 정서를 표현한다. 스크리아빈(A. Scriabin, 1872-1915)은 20세기 러시아 작곡가로써 주로 피아노 작품에 집중하였는데 그 중 「Piano Sonata in g# minor, Op. 19」는 그의 초기 작품으로 형식에 얽매이지 않은 Fantasy Sonata라는 부제가 있는 대중적이고 예술적인 작품이다. 곡의 두 악장은 상반된 분위기의 곡이지만 같은 g# minor의 조성으로 구성되어 있다. 작곡 스타일에서 쇼팽의 영향을 받은 것이 나타나고 이후 나타날 스크리아빈만의 독창적인 신비화음의 행보도 엿 볼 수 있다. 쇤베르크(A. Schonberg, 1874-1951)는 20세기 대표적인 작곡가로 1911년「Six Little Piano Pieces, Op. 19」를 작곡하였는데 그의 무조 음악시기에 작곡된 피아노 작품 중 하나로 총 6개의 짧은 곡들로 구성되어 있다. 반복이 없는 짧은 동기를 사용하여 극단적인 강약대비, 세밀한 지시어로 무조의 특성을 집약적으로 나타낸 작품이다.;This study will explain the characteristics of each work of my master's degree graduation performance program, F. Schonberg,「Six Little Piano Pieces, Op. 19」through works’ background and analysis. Haydn (1732-1809), one of the leading composers of the preclassic music who established the classical style of sonatas, composed a total of 52 piano sonatas. For One of the later sonatas 「Piano Sonata in E♭ Major, Hob.XVI: 49」, the first movement is a large 200-bar piece with a single theme, and the lyricism and tension of the second movement have a significance in the song. The third movement is Rondo style with two themes, consisting of a combination of Rondo and variations, which is a novel style. R. Schumann (1810-1856), a world-renowned composer who worked in the early 19th century, established unique music world. 「Humoreske, Op. 20」 is a representative character piece composed in 1839, where five independent songs continue with uniformity using double bars. It expresses the poetic sentiment of romanticism with various tempo, rhythm, discord, and changes in composition. Scriabin (1872-1915), a Russian composer of the 20th century, focused mainly on piano works, among which 「Piano Sonata in g# minor, Op. 19」was a popular and artistic work subtitled "Fantasy Sonata," which was not constrained by the required format. The two different styles of movements are connected by the same composition, the g# minor, and one can see the composition techniques influenced by Chopin in his works along with mystical harmony that was further developed later on. A. Schonberg (1874-1951), another representative composer of the 20th century, composed 「Six Little Piano Pieces, Op. 19」 in 1911, one of the piano pieces composed during his period of atonalism. Consisting of a total of six short pieces, it is a work that uses a short motive without repetition to express the characteristics of the atonalty in an intense dynamics with detailed directions.
