Tomaso Antonio Vitali의 Chaconne in g minor for Violin and Piano의 분석연구

Abstract

본 논문은 바이올린 연주자가 악기를 연주하기에 중요한 역할 하는 활 쓰기(bowing)에 대해 집중적으로 연구하고자 바이올린의 기교적 발달에 큰 역할을 한 토마스 안토니오 비탈리(Tomas A. Vitali, 1665-1747)의《Chaconne in g minor for Violin and Piano》를 예시로 들어 분석 하고자한다. 그 중에서도 연주자가 활 쓰기를 할 때 어떻게 접근해야 어떤 결과를 창출 해 내는지에 대한 분석을 하고자 한다. 위 곡은 다양한 변주로 이루어져있어 여러 경우의 활 쓰기를 예시로 들기에 다양한 시각으로 접근을 할 수 있다. 다음으로 활 쓰기의 중요한 역할을 하는 활 쓰기의 압력과, 활 쓰기의 속도, 활 쓰기의 배분, 활을 쓰는 오른손목과 오른팔 대해 4가지 시각으로 정밀히 분석을 하였다. 활 쓰기의 압력은 소리의 연결성과 연관이 있으며 활 쓰기의 속도는 여러 가지 다이내믹을 표현 하는 것과 다음 음을 내는 데에 있어 큰 역할로 작용 한다는 점, 활 쓰기의 배분은 음을 고르게 내는 데에 작용을 하며 활을 쓰는 오른 손목과 오른 팔이 다양한 주법의 밀접한 연관성이 있다는 점을 분석 하였다. 이와 같은 분석으로 활 쓰기를 어떤 부분에서 어떻게 하느냐에 표현 및 소리, 주법, 음악성에 상관관계를 갖는지 결과를 낼 수 있다.;This study examines various violin bowing techniques through a review of Chaconne in G Minor for Violin and Piano by Tomaso A. Vitali (1665-1747), a 16th century composer. The reason for selecting Vitali’s Chaconne is because it contains a total of twenty different variations, allowing the exploration of various bowing techniques. This study focuses on bowing in four major aspects: bowing pressure, bowing speed, bowing allocation, and the role of and relationship between the right arm and wrist engaged in bowing. Bowing techniques are intensively studied through an investigation of the relationship between bowing pressure and the creation of constant sound as well as the expression of dynamics and phrasing, the relationship between bowing speed and ease in expressing tempos and dynamics, the relationship between bowing allocation and the creation of even notes, and the role of the right arm and wrist used for bowing. This study is significant in that it not only examines diverse techniques of violin bowing but also reveals their contribution to connectivity in a piece of music.
