C. A debussy의 가곡 《Ariettes oubliées》의 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 드뷔시(Cloud Achille Debussy 1862-1918)의 <잃어버린 노래 (Ariettes oubliées) >의 6곡에 관한 분석 연구이다. 드뷔시는 19세기 후반 프랑스에서 성행을 이룬 상징주의 문학과 인상주의 회화와 더불어 프랑스의 인상주의 음악을 탄생시켰다. 낭만주의 음악의 특징인 정형화된 조성, 화성, 리듬 , 선율의 형식에서 벗어났고 은근한 색채감으로 음악을 묘사하였다. 조성과 선율이 사실적으로 분명하게 드러나지 않고 조성의 색감을 모호하게 표현하여 감각적으로 곡의 분위기를 나타내었다. 드뷔시는 베를렌을 비롯한 상징주의 시인들의 시에 곡을 붙여 상징주의 시의 리듬감, 운율감, 상징적인 시어들을 음악으로 잘 나타내려 하였으며, 이러한 상징주의 시가 추구하는 방향과 인상주의 음악이 잘 결합되어 드뷔시만의 가곡이 탄생하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 베를렌의 <말없는 연가(Romances sans Paroles)>에서 6개의 시를 발췌하여 작곡된 <잃어버린 노래 (Ariettes oubliées) >를 중심으로 프랑스 가곡의 역사, 상징주의 문학, 인상주의 음악, 드뷔시 가곡의 특징들을 살펴보고 이 곡의 상세한 분석을 통하여 드뷔시의 프랑스 가곡에 나타난 인상주의 음악의 특징뿐 아니라, 상징주의 시인 베를렌의 시와의 연관성 등 그의 가곡에 제시된 다양한 구조적, 음악적 특징을 연구한다.;This thesis is the research analysis of the six pieces from Ariettes oubliéest composed by Claude Achille Debussy (1862-1918). Debussy established French Symbolism music along with Symbolism literary movement and Impressionism in painting, which flourished in the late 19th century in France. In order to describe the music in subtle color, the composer moved away from standardized tonality, chord, rhythm and melody, which are the features of Romanticism. Debussy presented the pieces in sensuous manner by not making the tonality and melody apparent but rather vaguely portraying the color of tonality. He also tried to describe the features of Symbolism rhythm, meter and figurative poetic dictions through music by writing songs for the works of Symbolist poets including Verlaine. The direction of which the Symbolism poetries pursue and the Impressionism music are well combined, leading Debussy to create his own lied. Focusing on Ariettes oubliées, the song made to six poetries excerpted from Romances sans Paroles by Verlaine, this paper looks into the features of French songs, history, Symbolism literature, Impressionism music and characteristics of Debussy’s songs. Through the close analysis of this piece, this thesis will also examine the features of Impressionism music, its relation to the works of Symbolist poet Verlaine as well as various aspects of the composition and musical features of Debussy’s songs.
