- Abstract
- The purpose of this book is to show that how learners learn four language skills by reading the story
books with different themes and do various meaningful activities. Activities are largely divided
into three categories. First, in pre-reading part, teachers get used to topic by doing activities related
to the topic of each book, and while-reading part, teachers read the book by asking questions to
help the learners understand, and the last post-reading part consists of activities that include the
learner’s opinions and thought or various interpretations of the book. These three steps allow
learners to feel the pleasure of reading books and also show that after eighty hours of lessons,
learners can become independent readers and do creative and critical thinking by themselves.
Finally, all of these results are intended to show how extensive reading can have a positive effect
on learners.
