중국 유아의 기질이 주도성에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 유아의 기질이 주도성에 미치는 영향에서 아버지의 놀이참여 수준의 조절효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 본 연구를 위하여 중국 장쑤성 남경시와 서주시에 소재한 유치원 및 어린이집에 다니는 만 3세에서 만 6세까지 유아와 그들의 아버지 507 쌍을 대상으로 온라인을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 유아의 기질을 측정하기 위해 Thomas와 Chess(1977)가 개발한 PTQ(Parent Temperament Questionnaire)와 Carey와 McDevitt(1978)가 개발한 RITO(Revised Infant Temperament Questionnaire)를 참고로 한 천희영(1993)의 도구를 사용하여 측정하였고, 아버지의 놀이참여 수준은 Stevenson, Tompson과 Roach (1998)의 놀이 유형과 이숙재(1984)의 놀이참여 정도 단계를 참고로 원희영(1998)이 제작한 측정도구를 사용하였다. 유아의 주도성은 Kohn과 Roseman(1972)의 Social Competency Scale 그리고 Gesten(1976)의 Health Resources Inventory(HRI)를 참고로 하여 황혜정과 김경희(1999)가 제작한 사회적 능력 척도 중 주도성을 선택해서 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS.22.0프로그램으로 빈도분석, 상관관계 분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 연구문제에 따른 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 기질적 변인 중 적응성, 생리적 규칙성, 반응성이 주도성에 정적 영향을 미쳤고, 아버지의 구성놀이, 신체놀이, 교수놀이, 게임, 역할놀이, 기능놀이도 모두 주도성에 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 유아의 기질적 변인인 활동성은 주도성과 관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 기질이 주도성에 미치는 영향을 아버지 놀이참여 수준이 부분적으로 조절하였다. 아버지 놀이참여 수준의 하위요인 중 아버지의 신체놀이, 게임, 역할놀이, 기능놀이는 유아의 적응성이 주도성에 미치는 영향을 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 유아의 적응성이 높은 경우에 아버지의 신체놀이, 게임놀이, 역할놀이, 기능놀이를 많이 참여할수록 유아의 주도성이 높게 나타났다. 반면, 적응성이 낮은 경우 아버지의 신체놀이, 게임, 역할놀이, 기능놀이를 많이 참여할수록 유아의 주도성이 높게 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 유아의 기질, 아버지의 놀이참여 수준이 주도성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았으며, 유아의 적응성, 생리적 규칙성, 반응성과 아버지의 놀이 유형별 놀이참여 수준이 주도성에 미치는 영향을 발견함으로써, 유아의 주도성 발달을 위해서는 유아의 적응성, 생리적 규칙성, 반응성과 아버지의 구성놀이, 교수놀이, 신체놀이, 게임, 역할놀이, 기능놀이의 참여가 중요하다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 아버지의 놀이참여 수준이 높을수록 주도성이 높다는 결과를 통해, 중국 유아의 주도성이나 사회적 능력 발달을 위한 프로그램에 아버지의 참여가 포함되어야 한다는 것을 지지함으로써 유아 주도성 증진을 위한 사회적 능력 향상 프로그램 개발의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.;This study aims to verify the moderating effect of father's play participation on child temperament with child initiative. For the purpose, this paper analyses the result of the survey of 507 fathers and children who are 3~6 years old. They reported their father's play participation in addition to child temperament and initiative. The primary results of this study were as follows: First, adaptability, physiological regularity, and responsiveness among child temperamental variables had a positive effect on initiative, and father's compositional play, physical play, teaching play, game play, role play, and functional play all had a positive effect on initiative. Activity, which is a variable of child temperament, was found to be independent of initiative. Second, the influence of the child's temperament on initiative was partially moderated by father's play participation. Among the sub-factors of the level of participation in father play, the father's physical play, game play, role play, and functional play can moderated the influence of child adaptability on initiative. In other words, the higher the adaptability of child, the higher the father's physical play, game play, role play, and functional play participation, the higher the child's initiative. In this study, we examined the effects of child temperament, father's play participation level on initiative, and discovering the effects of child adaptability, physiological regularity, responsiveness and father's play participation level by play type on initiative. For the development of initiative, it was confirmed that the adaptability of children, physiological regularity, responsiveness, and participation of father's constructive play, teaching play, physical play, game play, role play, and functional play are important. In addition, through the results that the higher the level of father's participation in play, the higher the level of initiative. It could be support the inclusion of father's participation in the program that promoted the development of children's initiative or social competence, and use it as the basic data for developing children's initiative or social competence improvement program.
