로맨티시즘과 스포티즘의 융합 패션 스타일 디자인 연구

Abstract

오늘날 중요한 화두로 대두된 융합은 사회 모든 영역에 있어 커다란 시대적 변화들을 불러오고 있다. 특히 패션 스타일에 있어서의 융합은 이질적인 것들이 섞이고 결합함을 통해 전에 없던 새로운 스타일이 만들어진다는 점에서 연구의 필요성이 제기된다. 하지만 기존의 융합 스타일에 관한 연구는 타 분야에서 나타나는 일반적인 융합 현상을 기준으로 패션의 특성을 분석한 연구가 많았고, 이질적이고 상반된 이미지가 결합할 때 발생하는 디자인 요소별 융합적 특성을 분석하여 이를 바탕으로 융합 패션 스타일의 독자적인 특성을 이해하고 디자인에 적용, 개발하는 연구는 아직 미비하다 하겠다. 본 연구는 로맨티시즘과 스포티즘 패션의 특성을 분석하여 로맨틱한 감성을 접목시킨 융합 패션 스타일의 디자인 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 융합의 개념을 하이브리드를 중심으로 여러 융합적 용어들을 포괄하는 함축적 개념으로 이해하고 패션에 나타난 융합의 일반적 특성을 시공간, 계층, 성, 소재, 장르별로 살펴보았으며 로맨티시즘과 스포티즘의 개념과 역사적 배경 및 복식의 특성을 고찰하였다. 나아가 로맨티시즘과 스포티즘 융합 패션 스타일의 디자인 요소별 특성에 따른 표현 특징 및 미적 특성을 분석하여 이를 융합 패션 스타일의 디자인에 적용시켜 개발하였다. 연구방법은 먼저, 국․내외 관련 전문서적, 선행연구, 포털 사이트를 바탕으로 융합 및 패션에 나타난 로맨티시즘과 스포티즘 배경에 관한 문헌 연구를 실시하여 융합 패션 스타일의 사진 분석을 위한 이론적 토대를 마련하였다. 또한 국내외 포털 사이트의 뉴스 기사 및 컬렉션 비평 글을 분석하여 로맨티시즘과 스포티즘 융합 스타일의 현황을 파악하였다. 실증적 연구로 컬렉션 분석에 있어서의 연구 범위는 2010년 S/S에서 2019년 F/W까지이며 오트 쿠튀르(haute couture)와 레디 투 웨어(ready to wear, RTW)에서 연도별로 나타난 로맨티시즘과 스포티즘 융합 스타일 패션의 사진을 통해 디자인 요소에 따른 특성과 복식의 미적 특성을 분석하였다. 디자인 요소별 특성의 연구 결과, 컬렉션에 나타난 로맨티시즘과 스포티즘 융합 스타일의 특성은 첫째, 확대, 확장의 특성과 단순, 축소의 절제된 특성이 대조적인 복합형 실루엣으로 나타났다. 또한 스타일간에 상호 전환된 실루엣과 좌우 아이템의 형태가 다른 비정형 실루엣이 출현하였다. 둘째, 아이템의 믹스 매치 및 아이템 상호간의 이질적인 전환이 이루어졌다. 그리고 아이템의 이중 착장과 코르셋, 뷔스티에와 같은 파운데이션이 스포티한 캐주얼웨어로 활용되었다. 셋째, 일반적인 개념에서 벗어난 배색과 색채 이미지의 전환이 이루어졌다. 또한 광택과 무광택의 대비, 투명과 불투명의 조화 및 여러 다중적인 디자인 의도에 의한 복합적인 배색이 발견되었다. 넷째, 대비되는 특성의 재질이 혼합되어 나타났고 장식적 소재와 기능성 소재의 믹스 매치, 재질과 다른 디자인 요소와의 이질적 전환과 전이가 이루어졌다. 다섯째, 사용 목적이 서로 다른 장식적 디테일과 기능적 디테일이 함께 사용되었으며 절제된 직선의 디자인선과 확장된 곡선의 주름이 조합되었다. 여섯째, 기존의 양식을 이탈하는 스타일에 있어 액세서리가 적극 활용되었다. 특히 상호 이질적인 착용을 통해 의상의 전체적인 분위기를 바꾸는 역할을 하였다. 이와 같이 디자인 요소에 따른 특성을 분석하여 융합 스타일에서 관찰되는 표현 특징은 대조와 복합, 전환과 변형, 절제와 확장, 이질과 혼합, 장식과 기능, 양식과 이탈로 나타났다. 그리고 미적인 측면에서 이들을 종합적으로 고찰하여 5가지 미적 특성을 도출하였다. 로맨티시즘과 스포티즘 융합 패션 스타일의 미적 특성은 첫째, 다기능 복합성이다. 변형, 치환, 탈착 등의 방법으로 다양한 기능을 부여하여 하나의 의복을 두 가지 이상의 용도로 사용가능하게 복합적인 형태로 통합시킨다. 둘째, 활동적 여성성이다. 여성의 관능미, 섬세함 등의 여성성을 표현하는 감각과 신체적인 움직임, 액티브한 활동성 등의 스포티즘 감각이 함께 표현된다. 셋째, 럭셔리 실용성이다. 화려한 분위기와 고급스러움이 실용성을 갖춘 실제적 가치 특성으로 나타난다. 넷째, 우아한 유희성이다. 게임이나 놀이에서 장난치거나 스포츠 경기와 같이 활기차고 생동감 있는 특성이 우아하고 기품 있는 아름다움과 조화를 이루어 나타나는 융합적 특성이다. 다섯째, 탈양식 감각성이다. 로맨티시즘 스타일의 미적 특성인 장식적, 여성적, 관능적인 아름다움이 오히려 양식을 이탈하여 어색하며 부조화의 형식미로 융합되어 나타난다. 이러한 융합 스타일의 특성을 반영하여 로맨티시즘과 스포티즘 융합 스타일 디자인 전개를 위해 평상시에 캐주얼웨어로 착용 가능하고 요가복이나 트레이닝복과 같은 운동시에도 활용할 수 있는 다목적 다기능의 감성적 융합 패션 스타일의 디자인을 전개하였다. 그리고 총 8착장의 실물 의상을 제작하였다. 작품 제작한 디자인Ⅰ은 과장된 형태의 소매와 인체에 밀착된 실루엣을 가지며 다목적 다용도의 복합적 특성을 지닌 디자인이다. 디자인Ⅱ 역시 과장된 소매를 갖는 티셔츠와 쇼트 팬츠의 대조적인 구성으로 요가복과 일상복 등 다용도로 활용할 수 있는 디자인이다. 디자인Ⅲ은 활동적인 운동복에 장식적 디테일을 적용하여 여성적인 미를 나타냈으며 일상복 및 트레이닝복으로 활용 가능한 디자인이다. 디자인Ⅳ는 장식적 디테일 및 부드러운 기모와 광택 소재를 실용적이고 활동적인 트레이닝복에 적용시켜 고급화한 디자인이다. 디자인Ⅴ는 탱크탑을 디테일을 활용해 뷔스티에 아이템으로 전환시킨 디자인으로 요가복 및 개성 있는 캐주얼웨어로 활용 가능하다. 디자인Ⅵ 역시 디테일을 사용해 티셔츠를 뷔스티에 아이템으로 표현하고 신축성 있는 소재로 활동성을 높인 디자인으로 요가복 및 캐주얼웨어로 활용이 가능하다. 디자인 Ⅶ은 팬츠와 스커트의 믹스 매치와 등이 노출되는 드레시한 점퍼로 기존의 양식을 벗어난 착장 및 기본 구성선을 이탈한 디자인이다. 디자인 Ⅷ은 좌우 비대칭과 비정형 실루엣 선으로 이탈이 주는 유희적 즐거움을 감각적으로 표현한 디자인이다. 이와 같이 스포츠웨어의 역할 뿐 아니라, 로맨틱한 감성 캐주얼웨어로써도 활용되며 다양한 사회적 활동에 착용할 수 있도록 일상복 및 외출복의 복합적 활용도를 갖춘 의복을 개발하였다. 이를 통해 디지털 시대의 다변화된 소비자들의 요구에 부응하는 융합 스타일 디자인 개발에 본 연구가 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.;Hybrid which has emerged as an important topic today, has brought about major changes in all areas of society. Especially in fashion style, the need for research is raised in that the it creates a new style that has never existed before through the integration of disparate things into one another. However, many previous studies on hybrid fashion styles analyzed the characteristics of fashion based on general phenomena in other fields and genres. In addition, it is still insufficient to analyze the hybrid characteristics of each design element that occur when heterogeneous images are combined and apply and develop them in the design. The purpose of this study was to develop a hybrid fashion style design with various characteristics to meet the needs of consumers in the changing forms of life into a digital industrial society. To this end, this study considered the concept of hybrid as a comprehensive concept with various meanings and examined the general characteristics of hybrid in fashion by time, space, class, sex, material, and genre, and studied the concept of romanticism and sportism and historical background and clothing characteristics. Furthermore, the expression features and aesthetic characteristics according to the characteristics of each design element of the hybrid fashion style of romanticism and sportism were analyzed and developed by applying them to the design of the hybrid fashion style. As a method of research, the literature study on the background of romanticism and sportism in fashion and hybrid was conducted based on professional books related at home and abroad, prior research, and portal sites. In addition, the current status of romanticism and sportism hybrid styles was identified by analyzing news articles and collection critical writings on domestic and foreign portal sites. The range of studies in the analysis of collections is from S/S 2010 to F/W 2019. The characteristics according to design elements and aesthetic characteristics of clothing were empirically analyzed through photographs of romanticism and sportism hybrid fashion styles, which appeared year by year in haute couture and ready to wear. As a result of the study of the characteristics of each design element, the characteristics of romanticism and sportism hybrid fashion style shown in the collection are as follows. First, it appeared as a composite silhouette with the contrasting characteristics of enlargement and shrinkage, extension and simple. In addition, an atypical silhouette with different shapes of the left and right items appeared. Second, the mix match of items and the heterogeneous conversion between items were made. There was a double-dressed outfit, such as wearing pants again under a skirt or dress, and foundations such as corset and bustier were used as sporty casual wear. Third, the conversion of disparate color scheme and color tone image was made away from the general concept of color. It also expressed the contrast between gloss and matte, the harmony between transparent and opaque, and various multiple design intentions through a mixture of colors. Fourth, contrasting materials were mixed and decorative and functional materials were mixed together. There was also a heterogeneous transition of materials in items, such as the use of romantic materials for sporty items or vice versa. Fifth, The decorative details and functional details were used together, and the design lines of refined straight lines and the wrinkles of extended curves were combined. Sixth, Accessories were used for styles that deviate from existing forms. In particular, it played a role in changing the overall atmosphere of the costume through inter-discriminatory wearing. As such, expression features found in characteristics according to design elements were shown as contrast and complex, transition and deformation, simplicity and expansion, heterogeneity and mixing, decoration and function, style and deviation. In addition, five aesthetic characteristics were derived by comprehensively considering them in terms of aesthetics. The aesthetic characteristics of romanticism and sportism hybrid fashion style are as follows. First, it is multi-functional complexity. Various functions are assigned by methods such as deformation, substitution, and desorption to incorporate a single garment into a complex form that can be used for more than one purpose. Second, it is active femininity. The sense of femininity, such as sensuality and delicacy, and the sense of sportism such as physical movement and active activity are expressed together. Third, it is luxury practicality. There are useful and practical values along with expensive splendor, luxury. Fourth, it is elegant amusement. This is a hybrid characteristic that combines playful and lively sports games with elegant feminine qualities. Fifth, it is deviant sensitivities. The aesthetic features of romantic style, decorative beauty, feminine and sensual beauty rather appear out of common form and merge into the form of incongruity. For the development of romanticism and sportism hybrid style design, reflecting the characteristics of hybrid style, the multi-purpose, emotional fashion style design was developed, which can be worn as casual wear and can also be used as exercise clothes such as yoga clothes and training clothes. And a total of eight real costumes were made. Design I has an exaggerated form of sleeves and silhouettes adhering to the human body, and is a multi-purpose multi-functional complex design. Design II is also a design that can be used for many purposes, such as yoga and daily clothes, with contrasting configurations of T-shirts with exaggerated sleeves and short pants. Design III shows feminine beauty by applying decorative details to active sportswear and is a design that can be used as daily and training clothes. Design IV is a design that can be used in various ways such as sportswear and casual wear. Decorative details, luxurious velvet material were applied to practical and active training suits. Design V is a design that converts tank tops into feminine bustier items using details and can be used as yoga clothes and unique casual wear. Design VI also converted T-shirts into bustier items by using details. It is highly flexible and can be used as yoga clothes and casual wear. Design VII is an emotional sports casual wear design deviating from the original form and basic composition. Flare skirts were layered on short pants and the jumper's back was exposed like an evening dress. The design VIII is a sensuous design that expresses the fun of being out of the way with asymmetric left and right sides and atypical silhouettes. As such, it has applied the characteristics of the hybrid fashion design of the romanticism and sportism so that it can be used as not only sportswear but also as romantic emotional casual wear. In addition, clothing with a combination of daily and outdoor wear was developed for various social activities.
