마르셀 그랑자니(Marcel Grandjany)의 랩소디(Rhapsodie)에 대한 연구 분석

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 하프에 대한 이해를 돕기 위해 프랑스 출신의 하피스트이자 후기낭만시대 작곡가였던 마르셀 그랑자니(Marcel Grandjany, 1891-1975)는 실력이 뛰어난 연주 실력과 동시에 하프를 위한 곡들을 다양한 장르들의 형태로 작곡했다. 특히 그 중에서 제일 잘 알려져 있는 곡은 하프에 있어서 중요하고 대표적인 작품으로 자리 잡은 『랩소디 (Rhapsodie)』가 있다. 하지만 악기에 대한 정보와 그랑자니, 그리고 현재까지 하프 연주자들에게 꾸준히 연주되고 있는 그랑자니의 『랩소디 (Rhapsodie)』는 연구 자료가 국내, 국외를 통틀어서 극히 드물다. 따라서 하프에 관련된 설명과 그랑자니의 생애를 살펴보고 이 곡을 분석하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 곡의 분석에 앞서 하프의 구조와 발전, 연주기법, 그랑자니의 연주자와 작곡가로서의 생애, 그가 작곡했던 작품들과 그 중에서 구체적으로 분석할 『랩소디』를 작곡했을 때 이 곡을 어떤 의도로 작곡했는지를 알아보고, 이 곡 제목에서도 알 수 있지만 낭만시대 때 유행했던 “랩소디”라는 장르에서 나오는 자유로운 형식, 다양하고 다채로운 화성과 조성, 선율, 음색을 강조한 연주기법 등을 여러 가지의 음악적 방면으로 분석하여 연구해보고자 한다. ;The purpose of this study is to understand harp, and to write songs for harp in various genres, Marcel Grandjany (1891-1975) was a French harpist and composer of the late Romantic era. 『Rhapsodie』 is the most well-known and most important work for harp. However, information on musical instruments, Marcel Grandjany, and 『Rhapsodie』 which has been constantly played by harp players, are extremely rare in research materials, both domestically and internationally. Therefore intended to analyze the piece by studying the history of harp and the Marcel Grandjany's life. Before analyzing the piece, I studied the structure and development of harp, the playing technique, the life of Marcel Grandjany as a musician and composer, and the purpose of composing the song when he wrote Rhapsody, which is a concrete analysis of the work he composed. As you can see from the title of the piece, I analyzed it in a variety of musical aspects, including free forms, diverse harmony, tonality and tone-enhanced playing techniques that appear in the genre of music.
