주의력결핍 과잉행동장애(ADHD) 아동에 대한 피아노 교육 실태조사연구

Abstract

본 연구는 주의력결핍 과잉행동장애(Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder: ADHD) 아동의 피아노 교육 실태를 파악하고 보다 효과적인 개선방안을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 주의력결핍 과잉행동장애(ADHD)에 대한 배경 지식을 연구하고, 피아노 교육의 효과를 알아보고자 주의력결핍 과잉행동장애(ADHD) 음악치료에 대한 이론적 배경을 고찰하였다. 이를 바탕으로 ADHD 아동의 피아노 교육 실태를 알아보기 위해 피아노 교사 200명을 대상으로 설문을 하였으며, 설문지의 내용은 피아노 교사의 ADHD에 대한 지식, 중재방법, 지도실태 및 피아노 교육방법, ADHD 아동의 문제 발생 시 대처방법과 효과적인 지도방법을 묻는 내용으로 작성하였다. 분석을 위한 방법으로는 SPSS WIN 21.0v 프로그램을 사용하였으며, 빈도 분석(Frequency Analysis)과 다중응답 내 빈도를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 대다수의 피아노 교사는 ADHD 아동이 집중을 오래 유지하지 못 한다고 인식하고 있었으며, 중재 방법에서는 ADHD 아동의 부모가 문제행동을 어떻게 조절하고 대처할 수 있는지에 대한 교육 및 훈련을 받는 것이 가장 중요하다고 인식하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 지도실태에서는 ADHD 아동에 대한 교사 교육이 필요하다는 의견이 지배적이었으나 실제로 대부분의 피아노 교사는 ADHD 아동에 대한 교육이나 연수를 받은 적이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 교육방법에서는 쉽고 반복적인 과제에 새로움을 추가하여 아동의 흥미를 유발하는 수업을 진행하는 것으로 조사되었고, 대처방법에서는 장애아동에 대해 이해하려는 노력과 더불어 장애아동에 대한 부정적인 생각이 바뀌기를 바라는 것으로 나타났다. 실제 유의한 효과를 본 지도방법은 아동이 흥미를 느끼는 교구를 사용하거나 좋아하는 곡을 연주하는 방법을 사용하는 것이 효과적이었다. ADHD 아동을 지도하는 과정에서 어려움을 겪었던 교사들의 사례에서는 교사만의 노력으로 ADHD 아동의 증상을 개선하기는 어려웠으며, 부모의 교육과 교육환경 개선이 중요하다고 인식하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 후속 연구에서는 ADHD 아동에 대한 전문지식을 배울 수 있는 교사 교육 프로그램 개발에 관한 연구가 필요하며, ADHD 아동의 증상 개선을 위해서는 부모교육이 함께 이루어질 수 있는 방안이 모색되어야 한다. 더불어 ADHD 아동의 특성에 맞는 피아노 지도방법이 개발되어 향후 ADHD 아동을 지도하는 피아노 교사들에게 유용한 자료로 활용되길 바란다.;The purpose of this study is to identify the status of piano education in ADHD children and to propose more effective improvement measures. To this end, background knowledge on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) was studied, and the theoretical background on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) music therapy was discussed to find out the effect of piano education. Based on this, a survey was conducted on 200 piano teachers to find out the status of piano education for children with ADHD. The contents of the questionnaire were written asking piano teachers about their knowledge of ADHD, how to mediate, how to teach guidance and how to respond to problems with ADHD children and how to effectively guide them. As a method for analysis, the SPSS WIN 21.0v program was used, and frequency analysis in Frequency Analysis and multiple responses were analyzed. The results of this study are summarized as follows. The majority of piano teachers recognized that ADHD children did not stay focused for long, and the method of arbitration showed that it was most important for parents of ADHD children to receive education and training on how to control and cope with problem behavior. The prevailing opinion was that teacher education for ADHD children was needed in the leadership practice, but in fact, most piano teachers had never received education or training for ADHD children. In the educational method, it was investigated that newness was added to the easy and repetitive task to carry out classes that arouse children's interest, and in the coping method, it was shown that negative thoughts about disabled children were changed as well as efforts to understand them. In fact, it was effective to use teaching aids that children were interested in or to play their favorite songs. In the case of teachers who had difficulties in guiding ADHD children, it was difficult to improve ADHD children's symptoms with their own efforts, and we could see the importance of improving parents' education and educational environment. Based on these results, further studies require research on the development of teacher education programs to learn the expertise of ADHD children, and in order to improve the symptoms of ADHD children, a way that parent education can be done together should be explored. In addition, it is hoped that piano teaching methods that suit the characteristics of ADHD children will be developed and used as useful materials for piano teachers who guide ADHD children in the future.
