dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among parental achievement-oriented psychological control, controlled motivation, autonomous motivation, boredom, and alcohol/ substance use in Korean undergraduate students aged between 18 and 29. Self-reported data from 408 Korean undergraduate students were analyzed. Results indicated that a high level of achievement-oriented psychological control was positively associated with controlled motivation and boredom. However, the path from achievement-oriented psychological control to autonomous motivation, and the that from autonomous motivation and alcohol/ substance use were not significant. Additionally, achievement-oriented psychological control was negatively associated with alcohol/ substance use. As a result of an analysis using the bootstrapping method, a high level of achievement-oriented psychological control was positively associated with boredom, which leads to alcohol/ substance use. Also, the dual medication effect of controlled motivation and boredom was significant for achievement-oriented psychological control and alcohol/ substance use. Based on the results above, implications of this study and suggestions for the future research were given. Also, intervention strategies for undergraduate students’ alcohol/ substance use were suggested.;본 연구는 대학생이 지각한 부모의 성취지향적 심리적 통제와 음주 및 약물사용의 관계에서 통제적 동기, 자율적 동기, 권태의 매개효과를 확인하기 위해 실시되었다. | - |
