아동용 색종이 색명 기준에 관한 연구

Abstract

색채의 개념은 유아기에 형성되어 성인이 되면서까지 지속되는 경향이 있다. 그렇기 때문에 유아기 아동의 색채교육은 색채개념을 형성하는 시작점이 될 수 있으며, 올바른 개념의 형성을 위해 기본적인 색채교육은 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 아동의 색채개념 형성을 위한 색채교육 및 놀이에서 쉽고 친근하게 접할 수 있는 미술재료인 색종이를 채택하여 시판되고 있는 제품의 색값과 색명에 대해 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국산업표준 물체색의 색 이름 규격인 KS A 0011 : 2015의 기본 유채색을 기준으로 실험과 비교 분석을 진행하였다. 먼저 시중에 판매되고 있는 3곳 제조사의 다양한 색으로 구성된 색종이 12종을 선택하였으며, 이 중 총234장의 샘플들을 육안과 표기된 색명을 통해 분류하여 측색 하였다. 색채 값을 구한 후에는 시판 중인 색종이의 색명과 색채구성의 적합성을 확인하기 위해 두가지 표준 규격 (물체색 색이름 KS A 0011 : 2015 / 색종이 KS G 2510 : 2018) 과 비교분석 하여 색차와 색명, 색범위에 대해 알아보았다. 그 결과 시판 중인 색종이 색 구성과 색명이 일정하지 않거나 기본색의 기준이 모호한 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 현재 유효한 두가지 한국 산업규격 간의 기본색 기준의 차이도 발견할 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구는 시판되고 있는 아동용 색종이에 필수적으로 포함되어야 할 기본색 유채색과 색명에 대해 조사 및 실험과 비교분석을 하고, 아동용 색종이의 개선점들을 제안하였다. 본 연구를 통해 일관성 있는 색명과 기본색을 기준으로 한 아동용 색종이의 필요성에 대한 시사점을 제공하고, 이에 대한 개선 방향을 제시할 수 있기를 기대한다.;The concept of color begins in infancy and tends to persist until adulthood. So, early childhood color education can be a starting point for forming the concept of color, and basic color education is very important to frame the right concept. Therefore, this study aims to compare and analyze the color values and the color names of the products on the market by selecting colored paper, an art material that children can approach and play easily and familiarly in color education in order to form children’s concept of color. To this end, this study carried out an experiment and a comparative analysis based on the basic chromatic colors of Korean Industrial Standard KS A 0011 : 2015. First, it selected 12 types of colored paper composed of various colors from three manufactures on the market, and a total of 234 samples were categorized for colorimetry through visual inspection and the marked color names. After obtaining the color values, this study performed a comparative analysis on two standard specifications (object color name KS A 0011: 2015 / colored paper KS G 2510: 2018) to check the chrominance, the color name, and the range of colors, so as to verify the suitability for the color name and the color composition of colored paper on the market. As a result of the colorimetric and comparative analysis, the color composition and the color name of colored paper on the market were not uniform, or the standard for basic colors was ambiguous. It also found out the difference in the basic colors between two current Korean Industrial Standards and then suggested the need for improvement. This study invested, experimented, and compared and analyzed basic colors, chromatic colors, and color names that should be included in children's colored paper on the market, and suggested the improvements for children's colored paper. It is hoped that this study will provide implications that children's colored paper with the proper color composition based on consistent color names and basic colors can reduce the confusion from children’s concept of color and is needed for correct color education, and will suggest the way to improve children's colored paper.
