Abstract

본 논문은 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주회 프로그램을 중심으로 연구한 것으로, 가브리엘 포레(Gabriel Fauré, 1845-1924)의 《어떤 날의 시(Poème d'un Jour, Op.21)》, 페르난도 오브라도스(Fernando Obradors, 1897-1945)의 《스페인 고전 가곡들, 제 1권(Canciones Clásicas Españolas, Volumen I)》을 다룬다. 본 논문에서는 포레와 오브라도스의 생애 및 작품을 시대적 배경 및 음악적 특징과 연관시켜 살펴보았다. 포레는 19-20세기의 프랑스 예술가곡에 큰 영향을 준 프랑스 작곡가이다. 그는 100여 곡의 가곡을 작곡하였는데, 그의 작품은 그가 사용한 시와 음악적 스타일에 따라 세가지 시기로 구분될 수 있다. 포레의 첫 연가곡 《어떤 날의 시(Poème d'un jour,＋Op.21)》는＋사랑하는 사람을 만나고 이별하는 하루의 일을 노래하고 있다. 이 작품은 3개의 가곡으로 구성되어 있다. 이 작품은 포레의 초기 작품으로, 그의 초기 작품은 시와 선율이 절묘히 연결되는 것이 특징이다. 이 곡들은 풍부한 감성을 지니며, 유절형식, 우아한 선율 등을 통해 호소력을 드러낸다. 또한, 반주는 대부분 단순한 형식이다. 오브라도스는 스페인 가곡을 대표하는 작곡가 중 한 사람이다. 《스페인 고전 가곡들, 제 1권(Canciones Clásicas Españolas, Volumen I)》은 1921년에서 1941년 사이에 작곡한 그의 대표적인 작품이다. 이 작품은 그가 스페인 민속음악을 편곡하여 작곡하여 스페인 민속음악의 특징이 잘 나타난다. 스페인 민속음악은 멜리스마, ‘미’ 의 선법과 독특한 리듬의 사용을 특징으로 한다. 또한, 이 작품에는 스페인 플라멩코의 특징도 잘 드러난다. 플라멩코는 노래, 춤, 기타가 융합된 스페인 특유의 예술 장르로, 이 작품에는 플라멩코의 독특한 기타 주법인 라스게아도 주법, 트레몰로 주법이 나온다. ;The thesis focuses on the graduation concert project of my master's degree in advanced studies, which is a research on the works of two composers. The thesis focuses on the research on the lifetime, the work's background and the works’ characteristic of two composers, Fauré and Obradors. In this thesis, there is a research focusing on 《Poème d'un Jour, Op.21》 by Gabriel Fauré(1845-1924), 《Canciones Clásicas Españolas, VolumenⅠ》 by Fernando Obradors(1897-1945). Fauré is a French composer who had a profound influence on French music in the 19th-20th century. Fauré had created more than 100 works in his career, and these works can be divided into 3 periods by the poem using and style of music. 《Poème d'un Jour, Op.21》, is the first set of vocal music of Fauré in his early period of composition. This work contains 3 different songs, telling the poet's encounter with a beloved woman within one day to parting. From this set of vocal music, we can see the early composition characteristics of Fauré is the excellent connection between poetry and melody. His songs are usually emotional, attracting people by their beautiful melody and regular pattern. Moreover, the accompaniment is mostly in simple form. Obradors was the 20th-century Spanish nationalist composer. 《Canciones Clásicas Españolas, VolumenⅠ》 is his representative work which was created between 1921 and 1941. He created this work by reconstructing the arrangement of some Spanish folk music, which has fully represented their characteristics. The feature of Spanish folk music is the playing of melisma, E mode, as well as the use of dynamic flow and rhythm. Moreover, the Spanish art form flamenco has been used in this work, which compromises with three main elements of this work, including song, dance and two unique playing methods of flamenco guitar: Rasgueado and Trémolo.
