음악창작수업에 대한 예비중등음악교사 교수내용지식(PCK) 및 교수효능감 연구

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to investigate pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) and teaching efficacy of pre-service music teachers in music creative classes and to analyze their correlation. Thus, a research was conducted through a questionnaire survey of 102 current students and graduates from music education departments at universities of education nationwide and the graduate schools of education located in Seoul. The collected data was analyzed for frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance(one-way ANOVA), Pearson correlation coefficient, and regression analysis according to the research questions. The results obtained from the analyses are summarized as follows: First, the PCK of pre-service music teachers in music creative classes was relatively average. By sub-domain, knowledge of environmental context was the highest, and knowledge of instructional strategies and knowledge of subject matter were relatively low. Second, the teaching efficacy of a pre-service music teachers in music creative classes was also relatively average. By sub-domain, music class guidance and operation, and quality development of music teachers were ranked high. Third, the level of PCK and teaching efficacy of pre-service music teachers in music creative classes differed depending on the general characteristics of pre-service music teachers. Among the general characteristics of pre-service music teachers, there was a significant difference in PCK depending on experience in lectures related to music creative classes. Moreover there was a significant difference in teaching efficacy depending on their major. Fourth, it was found that there is a positive correlation between PCK and teaching efficacy of pre-service music teachers in music creative classes. In particular, knowledge of subject matter and knowledge of instructional strategies among the sub-domain of PCK have a significant positive impact on teaching efficacy of pre-service music teachers. Based on the above conclusions, this study suggests that a curriculum should be developed in the pre-service teacher education course to form PCK about music creative classes. Through this curriculum, pre-service music teachers should learn about music creative activities and form PCK. This will lead to a high level of teaching efficacy. Thus, it is expected that such high level of PCK and teaching efficacy in music creative classes will have a positive effect on actual teaching and learning. Ultimately this will contribute to fostering students as creative and convergence talents.;본 연구의 목적은 음악창작수업에 대한 예비중등음악교사의 교수내용지식(PCK)과 교수효능감 수준에 대해 알아보고 이들의 상관관계를 분석하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 전국의 사범대학교와 서울 소재 교육대학원 음악교육과의 재학생 및 졸업생 102명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 통한 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 문제에 따라 수집된 자료를 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 독립표본 t 검정, 일원분산분석, 상관분석, 회귀분석 처리하였다. 분석을 통해 얻게 된 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 음악창작수업에 대한 예비중등음악교사의 교수내용지식(PCK)은 비교적 평균의 수준을 보였다. 하위영역별로는 환경맥락 지식이 가장 높게 나타났으며 교수법 지식, 내용 지식이 비교적 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 음악창작수업에 대한 예비중등음악교사의 교수효능감 역시 비교적 평균의 수준을 보였다. 하위영역별로는 음악수업 지도 및 운영, 음악교사 자질 함양 순으로 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 음악창작수업에 대한 예비중등음악교사의 교수내용지식(PCK)과 교수효능감 수준은 예비중등음악교사의 일반적 특성에 따라 차이가 있었다. 예비중등음악교사의 일반적 특성 중 음악창작수업 관련 강의 수강경험에 따라 교수내용지식에서 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 예비중등음악교사의 전공에 따라 교수효능감에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 넷째, 음악창작수업에 대한 예비중등음악교사의 교수내용지식(PCK)과 교수효능감은 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 교수내용지식의 하위영역 중 내용 지식과 교수법 지식이 예비중등음악교사의 음악창작수업에 대한 교수효능감에 정적인 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 위와 같은 결론을 바탕으로 본 연구는 교원양성과정에서의 음악창작수업에 대한 교수내용지식을 형성할 수 있는 교육과정이 개발되어야 할 것을 제언한다. 예비중등음악교사가 음악창작수업 교육을 통해 음악 창작 활동에 대해 배우며 교수내용지식을 형성하고, 높은 교수효능감 수준으로 이어지도록 해야 한다. 그리고 추후 실제 교수·학습에 긍정적 영향을 미쳐 학생들을 창의·융합 인재로 양성하는데 기여하기를 희망한다.
