중학교 협력종합예술활동에 대한 학생들의 인식 및 만족도

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and perform comparison analyzation of knowledge, participation and satisfaction of students who experienced cooperative integrated arts activities, especially in the musical/movie field. 223 middle school students of 4 schools in Seoul were surveyed for this study, and the survey used CIPP evaluation model, including general characteristic, awareness(context), participation(process), satisfaction on the management(product) on cooperative integrated arts activities in order to support improvement on cooperative integrated arts activities. Collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, independent sample t-test, and Chi-squared test considering the subject, and the results are as followed. First, within cooperative integrated arts activities, the students who participated in musical field were more aware of vision and goal then the students who participated in movie field, and the difference was especially significant in “enlightenment on creativeness”. Also, majority of both groups felt that the grade of practice and the period of practice were appropriate. Second, within cooperative integrated arts activities, the student who participated in musical field showed higher participation than the students who participated in the movie field. Especially, the students that participated in the musical field showed self-directed participation with self- conscious and confidence, showing high participation in self-care ability. Third, within cooperative integrated arts activities, the overall satisfaction was higher in the students who participated in the musical field than the students who participated in the movie field. Especially, the students who participated in the musical field showed higher satisfaction in the “communication”, “the intellectual ability of the instructor”, “enhancement on cooperation” criterion than the students who participated in the movie field. But both groups showed low satisfaction on the “space for practice, the performance facility”. Requirement on appropriate practice hours and space is suggested for smooth management of cooperative integrated arts activities, along with various methods to promote participation and satisfaction of students participating in the movie filed, based on this study. Through this study, the effective management of cooperative integrated art activities is expected, and is hoped that through expansion to every city, province office of education, many students will have opportunities to experience cooperative integrated art activities in the near future.;본 연구의 목적은 협력종합예술활동 중 뮤지컬·영화 분야에 참여한 학생들의 인식과 참여도, 만족도를 알아보고 이를 비교분석하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 서울시 4개 중학교의 223명의 학생을 대상으로 설문 조사를 시행하였으며 설문지는 협력종합예술활동 개선에 대한 의사결정에 도움을 주고자 CIPP 평가모형을 활용하여 일반적 특성, 협력종합예술활동에 대한 인식(상황, Context), 협력종합예술활동 참여도(과정, Process), 협력종합예술활동 운영 만족도(결과, Product)로 구성하였다. 수집된 자료는 연구 문제에 따라 빈도 분석, 독립표본 t-test, Chi-squared test를 통해 분석하였고 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 협력종합예술활동 중 뮤지컬 분야에 참여한 학생들이 영화 분야에 참여한 학생들보다 비전 및 목표에 대해 더 정확히 인식하고 있었으며, 그 중 ‘창의성 계발’측면에서 가장 유의미한 차이가 드러났다. 또한 운영 학년과 기간에 대해서는 두 집단 모두 다수의 학생이 적절하다고 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 협력종합예술활동 중 뮤지컬 분야에 참여한 학생들이 영화 분야에 참여한 학생들보다 높은 참여도를 보였다. 특히 뮤지컬 분야에 참여한 학생들은 자아정체성과 자신감을 가지고 활동에 자기주도적으로 참여하여‘자기관리 역량’향상에 높은 참여도가 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 협력종합예술활동 중 뮤지컬 분야에 참여한 학생들이 영화 분야에 참여한 학생들보다 전반적으로 높은 만족도를 보였다. 특히 상호소통과 이해력 향상’,‘교사의 지적 능력’,‘협동심 향상’에서 뮤지컬 분야에 참여한 학생들은 영화 분야에 참여한 학생들보다 큰 만족감을 보였다. 하지만‘연습공간, 공연시설’측면에서는 두 집단에서 모두 낮은 만족감을 보였다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 협력종합예술활동의 원활한 운영을 위하여 적절한 연습 시간과 연습공간이 확보되어야 하며 영화 분야에 참여한 학생들의 참여도와 만족도를 높이기 위한 다양한 개선방안이 필요함을 제안하였다. 본 연구를 통해 앞으로 본격적으로 내실화가 추진될 협력종합예술활동이 효과적으로 운영되고 모든 시·도 교육청에 확대되어 많은 학생들이 협력종합예술활동을 경험할 수 있기를 기대한다.
