Hermitian LCD codes over F_4

Abstract

An LCD code (a linear code with complementary dual) is a linear code which meets its dual trivially. Massey showed that LCD codes are asymptotically good. LCD codes have obtained a lot of attention because Carlet and Guilley presented an application of binary LCD codes to side-channel attacks and fault injection attacks. We find a method for constructing Hermitian LCD codes over F_4. Using our method, we can find optimal Hermitian LCD codes over F_4 from non-optimal ones. Furthermore, we get an infinite family of Hermitian LCD α-constacyclic codes over F_4 for any nonzero element α in F_4. We also obtain two optimal codes from our Hermitian LCD α-constacyclic codes over F_4 using our construction method. In addition, we discuss the result by Liu and Wang on the construction of Hermitian LCD codes over F_4.;LCD 코드가 보안에 유리한 코드임이 알려지며 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 그 중에서도 F_4위에서의 Hermitian LCD 코드에 관하여 연구하였다. 먼저, F_4위에서 Hermitian LCD 코드를 구성하기 위한 구성 방법을 제안하였다. 그리고 이 구성 방 법을 통해 optimal Hermitian LCD 코드를 얻었다. 또한, F_4위에서 Hermitian LCD constacyclic 코드를 구성하였다. 우리가 구성한 Hermitian LCD constacyclic 코드와 앞서 제안한 구성 방법을 사용하여 약간의 optimal 코드를 얻었다. 마지막으로, 우리는 Liu와 Wang이 2019년도에 제안한 Hermitian LCD 코드의 구성 방법을 분석하였다.
