dc.description.abstractPurpose: The main purpose of this book is to give students opportunities to read children's literature based on picture books and participate in meaningful activities for English language learning. Rationale: Children’s literature offers young learners chances to acquire more powerful language ability. Reading the picture book is helpful to understand. When students interact with the teacher and group members doing various activities, learners will be able to develop their language skills and show their potential within the ZPD(Zone Proximal Development). (Vygosky, 1978) Target Learners: 11-year-old, 4th grade elementary school students, small group, mixed gender Proficiency Level: Intermediate-Mid level according to ACTFL, Reading Level is approximately AR 3.6-4.0 Learning Context: Private English Institute, 3 times a week for 80 minutes each-
