청소년 문제도박 영향요인

Abstract

급격히 변화하는 인터넷 환경과 사회의 변화로 인해 청소년의 취미와 문화 역시 급속도로 변화하고 있다. 이러한 새로운 환경 속에서 도박 역시 다양한 유형과 형태를 보이며 청소년들을 유혹하고 있다. 이에, 청소년의 문제도박의 효과적인 개입을 위한 이론적 배경과 기초자료를 제공함으로써 청소년 문제도박을 예방하고, 실제적인 개입에 초점을 맞추고자, 청소년 문제도박 영향요인과 이러한 영향 속에서 보호요인이 조절효과를 보이는지 검증하였다. 이를 통해 청소년 문제도박의 선제적 예방과 효과적인 개입방안 제시를 통한 정책적‧실천적 함의를 도출하는 것을 주요 연구 목적으로 설정하였다. 이와 같은 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 한국도박문제관리센터의 2017년 ‘도박문제 보호요인과 위험요인에 따른 청소년 도박예방 모델 개발’ 연구 자료를 활용하였으며, 연구 대상자는 만 13세에서 만 18세 미만의 학교 재학 중인 청소년 1,471명을 대상으로 하여 SPSS 22.0을 활용해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 청소년 문제도박에 영향을 미치는 보호요인과 위험요인 간 영향요인을 검증하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년 문제도박에 있어서 우울, 부모방임, 도박 접근성은 문제도박에 정적인 영향을 미치며, 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 또래지지의 조절효과를 살펴본 결과, 우울과 문제도박 간의 영향 관계에서는 조절효과가 유의하지 않았다. 그러나 부모방임과 문제도박 간 관계에서는 유의미한 영향을 미치며 조절효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났고, 도박 접근성과 문제도박에 있어서도 유의한 영향관계를 보여 조절효과를 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 청소년 문제도박에 영향을 주는 위험요인과 보호요인의 조절효과를 파악해 향후 청소년 문제도박의 선제적 예방과 사회복지적 개입방안 구축을 위한 기초자료를 마련하고자 하였다. 이를 통해 청소년 문제도박 개입에 있어 또래관계를 활용한 프로그램의 개발, 향후 예방교육의 다양한 도박유형에 대한 고려, 체계적인 지원방안 수립 등을 제안하였다. ;Due to the rapidly changing internet environment and changing society, youth's hobbies and cultures are also changing rapidly. In this new environment, gambling also attracts youths of various types and forms. In order to prevent youth problem gambling and to focus on practical interventions, youth problem gambling influence factors and protective factors in this effect are provided. Through this, the purpose of the study is to derive policy and practical implications through preemptive prevention of youth problem gambling and suggest effective intervention. To achieve the purpose of this study, the study used the research tools and results of the “Gambling Prevention Model for Youths according to Gambling Protection Factors and Risk Factors” conducted by the Korea Center on Gambling Problem(KCGP) in 2017. Through this, the effects of protection factors and risk factors on youth problem gambling were examined. The main findings are as follows. First, depression, parental neglect, and access to gambling have a negative effect on problem gambling and are statistically significant in adolescent problem gambling. Second, as a result of examining the moderating effect of peer support, the moderating effect was not significant in the relationship between depression and problem gambling. However, the relationship between parental neglect and problem gambling had a significant effect on moderating effects and a significant effect on gambling accessibility and problem gambling showed a moderating effect. Based on the results of the study, the study examined the moderating effects of risk factors and protective factors on youth problem gambling. So it suggested to prepare basic data for preemptive prevention of social problem gambling and establish of social welfare intervention plans. Through this, we proposed the development of programs using peer relationships in youth gambling interventions, consideration of various types of gambling in future prevention education and establishment of systematic support measures.
