순수성의 탐구와 재구성

Abstract

본 논문은 연구자가 생각한 ‘순수성’에 대한 탐구와 본인의 내면 안에서 잊혀진 순수성을 찾고 현재의 본인과 그 감각(순수성)을 연결 짓는 여정을 담은 것이다. 연구자의 작품 연구 동기는 본인의 행복의 근원을 유년 시절로 여긴 것으로부터 시작되었다. 유년 시절은 기성 가치에 물들지 않은 가장 순수한 시기이다. 지금은 그 시절로 돌아갈 수 없지만, 유년 시절의 순수했던 감각이 현재 본인 내면에 잠재되어 있음을 깨닫고 ‘놀이’를 통해 그 감각을 불러일으켜 본인의 존재 불안과 공허를 채우고 순수한 객체로 돌아가고자 한다. 그래서 현재 본인의 불안 근거를 심층적으로 탐구해보고 이를 바탕으로 연구자가 사유한 순수성의 의미를 유년 시절을 중심으로 알아보았다. 또한, 역사 속에서 예술과 놀이 사이의 인식의 변화를 철학자들을 통해 간략하게 살펴보고 하위징아의 이론을 가져와서 동심, 즉 순수성을 끌어내는 행위로써 놀이의 상징적 의미를 고찰해보았다. 그리고 예술에서 작가들에게 나타난 동심과 순수성의 다양한 의미를 알아보았다. 앞서 언급한 예술적, 이론적 배경을 근거로 연구자의 작업의 토대를 구축하였고 현재의 본인을 과거의 순수한 ‘나’와 만나게 함으로써 순수성이 존재의 불안과 공허를 채워줄 수 있는 중요한 수단인 것을 드러내고자 하였다. 연구자의 의도를 작품으로 시각화하는 과정에서 순수성을 직접적으로 드러낼 수 있는 구체적인 물체들과 그 안에서 보이는 색과 행위에 관해 탐구하였고 이는 작업의 기본적인 오브제로 사용되었다. 본 연구를 통해 순수성의 의미와 역할을 살펴보고 현재의 본인에게 그 감각을 대입시켜 온전하고 순수한 현재의 자아를 찾는 여정이라는 결론을 내릴 수 있었다. 본인에게 순수한 감각을 찾아가는 여정은 계속되고 있고, 앞으로도 지속적으로 진행될 것이다. 작업으로 드러난 순수성을 잊지 않고 본인의 내면에 항상 함께할 것을 기억하면서 앞으로 연구자 앞에 펼쳐질 여정들을 긍정적인 태도로 삶을 나아가고자 한다. ;This paper is a study of the researcher's pursuit of 'pureness' and the journey of finding forgotten purity within me and connecting the present self with its senses (pure). The motivation of the researcher's work began with my source of happiness as a childhood. Childhood is the purest period of time, not stained with ready-made values. Now, I can't go back to those days, but I realize that the pure sense of childhood was latent within me, and I want to bring that sense through play to fill my anxiety and emptiness and return to pure objects. Therefore, I explored the current ground of anxiety in depth and based on this, I examined the meaning of purity that the researcher thought about, focusing on my childhood. In addition, I briefly examined the change of perception between art and play through the philosophers in history, and considered the symbolic meaning of play as an act of drawing purity, by bringing Joan Huizinga’s theory. And the various meanings of innocence of childhood and purity shown to artists in art were examined. Based on the artistic and theoretical background mentioned above, I laid the groundwork for the researcher's work and attempted to reveal that purity is an important means to fill the anxiety and emptiness of existence by bringing the present self into contact with the pure 'I' of the past. In the process of visualizing the researcher's intentions, I explored specific objects that can directly reveal purity, and the colors and actions that appear in them. Through this study, I examined the meaning and role of purity and concluded that it is a journey to find the perfect and pure present self by substituting its senses. The journey of finding pure sense to me will continue. While pursuing the purity revealed by my work, I always remember that the pure will always be inside of me, and I want to lead my life with a positive attitude on the journey that will take place in front of the researchers.
