Abstract
The purpose of the study was to reveal how the tripartite efficacy (self-efficacy, relation-inferred self-efficacy, other-efficacy) of dance majors affects the psychological variables of effort, expectation level and satisfaction. The study selected three of the nation's art high schools and surveyed a total of 165 dance students three times. The first survey measured self-efficacy, effort for future classes, and expectations for future classes at the beginning of the semester. The second survey measured the tripartite efficacy, the effort for the class before the actual test, the level of expectation for the class before the actual test, and the level of expectation for the actual test after a week. The third survey measured the satisfaction level of dancers with the results. A total of 152 data were analyzed, excluding data from those who failed to participate in the first, second and third surveys or who responded insincerely. Frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, pearson's correlation analysis, simple linear correction analysis, and multiple linear correction analysis were performed to analyze the collected data. The results of this study are as follows: First, it has been shown that the self-efficacy of a dance major has a positive effect on effort, expectation level and satisfaction. Second, the relation-inferred self-efficacy of dance majors was shown to have a positive effect on effort, expectation level and satisfaction. Third, the other-efficacy of a dance major only had a positive effect on effort and no statistically significant effect on expected levels or satisfaction. As a result, it has been judged that the higher the self-efficacy and relation-inferred self-efficacy are, the higher the effort, the expected level and satisfaction become and that the higher the other-efficacy is, the higher the degree of effort becomes. On the other hand, other-efficacy was judged to have no effect on expected levels and satisfaction. Teacher and co-worker relationships are a very important variable because dancing is an essential practical area of interaction with others. It is reasonable to understand and reflect both personal and environmental factors in order to explain the self-efficacy of dance majors, and teachers should develop teaching strategies and methods with this in mind. This study confirmed the effect of tripartite efficacy of dance majors on effect, expectation level and satisfaction. The results are believed to be meaningful in terms of the field of dance education.
