Abstract

본 논문은 본 연구자의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주회 프로그램이었던 닐스 빌헬름 가데(Niels Wilhelm Gade, 1817-1890)의 Fantasy Pieces for Clarinet and Piano Op.43, 도나토 로브렐리오(Donato Lovreglio, 1841-1907)의 Fantasy on Themes from G. Verdi's "La Traviata” for Clarinet and Piano, Op.45, 벨라 코박스(Béla Kovács, b1937)의 Hommage à Manuel De Falla, 조셉 호로비츠(Joseph Horovitz, b1926)의 Sonatina for Clarinet and Piano에 관한 연구이다. 덴마크 민족주의 음악의 선구자였던 닐스 빌헬름 가데의 Fantasy Pieces for Clarinet and Piano Op.43은 1864년에 작곡된 총 4개의 환상모음곡집이다. 이 작품은 그의 친구이자 존경했던 슈만의 작품을 모델로 작곡하였고, 독일 낭만주의 형식을 따르며 스칸디나비아의 서정을 더한 작품으로 평가된다. 이탈리아의 플루트 연주자이자 작곡가인 도나토 로브렐리오의 Fantasy on Themes from G. Verdi's "La Traviata” for Clarinet and Piano, Op.45는 1865년에 작곡된 작품이다. 이 작품은 베르디의 오페라‘라 트라비아타’의 주제선율을 클라리넷을 위한 변주곡 형식으로 편곡하였으며 클라리넷의 화려한 기교와 다양한 음색을 보여줄 수 있는 작품이다. 현재 클라리넷 연주자이자 작곡가로 활동 중인 벨라 코박스의 작품 Hommage à Manuel De Falla는 A조 클라리넷의 독주를 위해 작곡된 곡이다. 이 작품은 1994년에 출판된 Hommage à Clarinet Solo 중 한 곡이며 스페인 작곡가인 마누엘 드 파야의 작품을 오마주하여 작곡하였다. 영국의 작곡가인 조셉 호로비츠의 작품 Sonatina for Clarinet and Piano은 1981년에 위촉을 받아 작곡된 작품이다. 이 작품은 고전적인 형식을 따르는 3악장 구조이며 멜로디와 리듬에서 재즈와 팝의 영향이 느껴진다. ;This thesis is based on the researcher's programs of Master degree graduation recital. It is focused on Fantasy Pieces for Clarinet and Piano Op.43 of Niels Wilhelm Gade (1817-1890), Fantasy on Themes from Verdi's "La Traviata" for Clarinet and Piano, Op.45 of Donato Lovreglio (1841-1907), Hommage à Manuel De Falla of Béla Kovács (b1937), Sonatina for Clarinet and Piano of Joseph Horovitz (b1926). Fantasy pieces for clarinet and piano Op.43, composed by pioneer of Danish nationalist music, Niels Wilhelm Gade in 1864 is the composition of four Fantasy pieces. This music follows German Romanticism structure, which was inspired by his respected friend Robert Schumann's music, and it is considered to express Scandinavian lyrical. Fantasy on Themes from G. Verdi's "La Traviata” for Clarinet and Piano, Op.45 is composed by a italian composer and a flutist Donato Lovreglio in 1865. He arranged the theme melody of G. Verdi's opera, La Traviata, in the form of a variation for the clarinet, and was able to show the splendid techniques and wide range of melody of the clarinet. Active clarinettist and composer, Béla Kovács, composed Hommage à Manuel De Falla for a solo clarinet in A. This piece is one of the nine collections of Hommage à Clarinet Solo, which was inspired by Spanish composer Manuel de Falla in 1994. Sonatina for Clarinet and Piano was composed by english composer, Joseph Horovitz, in 1981. This music is a three movement structure that follows the classical sonata form and was composed under the influence of jazz and pop.
