Abstract

본 논문은 본인의 석사 과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주회 프로그램인 프란츠 슈베르트 (Franz Schubert, 1797-1828)의 『Winterreise』(겨울나그네) 중 제 4곡 <Erstarrung>(동결) , 제 5곡 <Der Lindenbaum> (보리수), 제 11곡<Frühlingstraum>(봄의 꿈)과 휴고 볼프(Hugo Wolf, 1860-1903)의『Eichendorff Liederbuch』(아이헨도르프 가곡집) 중 <Verborgenheit>(은둔), 그리고 세르게이 라흐마니노프(Sergei Rachmaninoff, 1873-1943)의『Sonata for Cello and Piano, Op. 19 in G minor』에 관한 연구이다. 슈베르트의 『Winterreise』는 독일 시인인 빌헬름 뮐러(Wilhelm Müller, 1794-1827)의 시에 노래를 붙인 총 24곡으로 구성된 가곡집이다. 이전의 슈베르트의 가곡집에 비해 음울하고 어두운 정서가 가득한 비극적인 성격이 드러난다. 제 4곡 <Erstarrung>은 변형된 유절 형식으로 잃어버린 연인을 그리워하며 눈밭을 헤매는 내용이다. 제 5곡 <Der Lindenbaum>은 변형된 유절 형식으로 비극적 현실 속에서 과거에 보리수 나무아래서 얻었던 안식을 회상하고 그리워하는 내용이다. 제 11곡 < Frühlingstraum>은 유절 형식의 곡으로 과거의 연인과의 행복한 추억에 관한 꿈을 꾸지만, 꿈을 깨고 차가운 현실로 돌아오는 내용이다. 볼프의『Mörike Liederbuch』는 시인 뫼리케(Eduard Mörike, 1804-1875)의 시에 노래를 붙여 작곡한 가곡집이다. 그 중 <Verborgenheit>는 A-확대된B-A’의 형식을 가지는 곡으로 속세에서 벗어나 은둔하며 느끼는 외로움 속에서 기쁨과 환희를 찾으려는 의지가 드러나는 내용이다. 라흐마니노프의 유일한 첼로 소나타인『Sonata for Cello and Piano, Op. 19 in G minor』는 첼리스트 브란두코프(Anatoly Brandukov, 1856-1930)에게 헌정되었다. 느린 도입부를 가진 소나타 형식의 제 1악장, A-B-A’의 3부분 형식을 지닌 스케르초의 제 2악장, A-B-A’의 형식을 지닌 아름답고 서정적인 제 3악장, 빠르고 활기찬 장조의 소나타 형식인 제 4악장으로 구성된다. 그의 첼로 소나타는 앙상블 악기로서의 첼로와 피아노의 관계가 잘 균형을 이루어 20세기 실내악곡의 중요한 레퍼토리 중 하나로 손꼽히는 작품이다. ;This study is sn analysis of the musical works that were performed for author’s Master of Music degree Recital. The program includes <Erstarrung>, <Der Lindenbaum>, and <Frühlingstraum> of 『Winterreise』 by Franz Schubert(1797-1828), <Verborgenheit> by Hugo Wolf(1860-1903), and『Sonata for Cello and Piano in G minor, Op. 19』by Sergei Rachmaninoff.( 1874-1943) 『Winterreise』is a song cycle of Franz Schubert who called the King of the Lied. This song cycle that consists of 24 songs has Wilhelm Müller’s poem as lyrics. Lyrics of each song are expressing gloomy, tragic feelings that because of lose. Speaker of this songs misses a lover of past and reveals aspiration of regaing her. This study includes analysis of song No. 4 <Erstarrung>, No. 5 <Der Lindenbaum>, and No. 11 <Frühlingstraum>. Hugo Wolf who followed Schubert tradition of German Lied used poems by various poet as lyrics. Among them, Wolf used Eduard Mörike’s poem as lyrics of『Mörike Liederbuch』. This study includes analysis of <Verborgenheit> in 『Mörike Liederbuch』. This song is revealing desire for peaceful life in seclusion. Sergei Rachmaninoff’s『Sonata for Cello and Piano, Op. 19 in G minor』is his only sonata for cello and piano. This sonata has beautiful and brilliant scales of Russian music in well- balanced texture of piano and cello part. The sonata consists of 4 movements. First movement is in sonata form that has slow introduction. Second movement was titled ‘Scherzo’ in A-B-A’ form. Third movement is slow and lyrical ‘Andante’ movement. Fourth movement is in sonata form that finishes this work brilliantly.
