창신동 지역성 강화를 위한 환경색채에 관한 연구

Abstract

Changsin-dong, located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, has been selected as a city revitalization area since 2014 and attention is paid to the necessity of improving the residential environment. Therefore, in this study, the purpose is to focus on improvement of aesthetics through applying color in a practical way, and the construction of color information in order to transform the cultural identity of Changshin-dong. The direction of Changshin-dong was centered on the typical characteristics of the area, the deteriorated residential area and the sewing industries. Specifically, there are the natural environment, urban-style Hanok, and sewing industries. Therefore, in this study, the direction of color improvement in Changshin-dong was set so as to reflect the awareness and needs of local residents based on the questionnaire survey conducted on existing local residents. The location of focus of this study is Changsin 2-dong, which shows the best regional identity in Changshin-dong. Changshin-dong area, Changshin-gil, Namsan -castle - donggil, and Changshin-11gil which represent the identity of the area, were selected. The Field survey was able to establish the color status of exterior walls, roofs, doors, window frames, and temporary facilities. The purpose of this research is to investigate the characteristics of the area in order to improve the environmental color of Changshin 2-dong which has characteristics of an aged residential area and sewing industry area. It is possible to suggest a harmonious hue and color range, monochrome palette in the environment color plan of Changshin 2-dong, and it is meaningful information to understand the cultural identity of the region. ;서울시 종로구에 위치한 창신동은 2014년부터 도시재생선도지역으로 선정되면서 주거환경개선의 필요성에 주목하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 창신동의 지역성 강화를 위한 미적 개선과 색채 정보 구축을 통해 색채의 실용적인 적용 방안에 있다. 창신동 지역의 대표적 특징은 노후주거지와 봉제산업을 중심으로 설정하였다. 구체적으로 창신동이 보유한 자연환경과 도시형 한옥, 봉제산업은 창신동 지역만의 정체성을 가지는 중요한 자원이며 지속적인 개선과 관리가 요구되는 부분이다. 이에 창신동의 색채 개선 방향은 기존에 지역 주민들을 대상으로 이루어진 설문조사를 바탕으로 실제 지역 주민의 의식과 요구가 반영되도록 설정하였다. 본 연구의 대상지 범위는 창신동에서 지역의 정체성을 가장 잘 나타내는 창신2동 이며 지역에서도 대표적으로 나타내는 창신동 일대와 창신길, 낙산성곽동길, 창신 11길 등을 선정하여 조사하였다. 현장 측색은 대상지 건축물 요소인 외벽, 담장, 지붕, 문, 창틀, 임시시설물을 중심으로 색채 현황을 정립 할 수 있었다. 이와 같이 이행한 조사에 따라 수립된 결과, 구역에 따라 색채 요소 간 시스템적 사고에 근거하여 3가지 유형의 관계성을 파악하였고 분류할 수 있었다. 역사적 환경 및 주거지는 창신동 일대, 봉제산업환경 및 주거지는 창신길, 마지막으로 자연환경 및 주거지는 낙산성곽동길, 창신 11길에서 범위가 나타남을 확인하였다. 이를 토대로 대상지의 특징을 고려한 전 영역의 색상 및 색조 범위, 팔레트를 정립할 수 있었다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 창신2동의 환경색채 계획 시 대상지에 따라 전 영역 색상 및 색조 범위와 팔레트를 참고할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 창신동 지역성을 강화하는데 있어 지역의 기초적인 색채 현황자료를 구축하는데 의의가 있다.
