햄프(Hemp)를 활용한 인테리어패브릭 디자인 연구

Abstract

최근 환경 문제에 대한 자각은 광범위하게는 지구 환경에서부터 개인의 생활양식과 소비패턴에 이르기까지 지대한 영향을 미치고 있다. 웰빙과 로하스가 21세기의 소비트렌드로 확산되면서 친환경 제품의 수요가 급증하고 친환경 제품이 소비자들의 상품 선택에 중요한 기준이 되고 있다. 섬유 산업 내에서도 친환경에 대한 소비자들의 관심이 모아짐에 따라 천연 소재를 강조하는 상품들이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 오늘날 갈수록 첨단화되는 기술발전과 무분별한 환경개발로 인해 천연자원의 고갈과 천연소재의 한계적 생산은 가속화되는 사회변화구조에 또 다른 문제점으로 제기되고 있다. 이에 섬유산업 내에서는 천연 소재를 대체할 수 있는 소재의 연구 및 지속가능한 패브릭에 대한 필요성을 제기하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 햄프를 대체가능한 친환경 섬유로 인지하고 실생활에 사용될 수 있는 생활 섬유로서의 발전 가능성을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 햄프의 재료적 특성을 개념 및 종류를 바탕으로 정리하였으며, 더불어 친환경 섬유와의 소재적 특성을 비교 분석하였다. 생활섬유로서의 햄프의 발전가능성을 높이기 위해 심미적 가치를 높일 수 있는 디자인 연구를 하였으며, 꽃과 식물 등 자연물에서 모티브를 찾아 텍스타일 패턴을 접목함으로써 가구나 소품으로 사용이 가능한 인테리어패브릭으로서의 적용 가능성을 높였다. 천연 섬유인 대마로 분류되는 햄프는 주로 공업용 분야의 소재로 사용되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 햄프의 소재적 특성을 섬유구조와 종류를 바탕으로 정리하였고, 친환경 섬유를 대표하는 네틀섬유와 케나프섬유의 유사적 특성을 분석하였다. 이러한 유사적 특성을 기반으로 햄프가 대체가능한 친환경섬유로의 발전가능성을 발견하였다. 이러한 햄프를 생활섬유로서 광범위하게 사용되기 위해서는 디자인적 심미성을 높여야한다. 이에 프린팅 기법을 접목하여 인테리어패브릭으로서의 발전 가능성을 제안하였다. 프린팅 기법을 접목한 텍스타일 패턴디자인을 위해 자연물을 모티브로 사용했던 아르누보의 시대적 배경을 바탕으로 연구하였다. 식물무늬와 곤충무늬 등 자연의 일부를 도안으로 사용한 아르누보의 친자연적 양식은 햄프의 자연적 성격을 표현하기에 적합했기 때문이다. 또한 자연물 모티브에 대한 시대적인 감각을 공유하기 위해 친츠 패턴의 영향을 받아 패턴디자인에 적용하였다. 이러한 텍스타일 디자인연구를 통해, 햄프의 가구나 커튼 등 인테리어에 적용 가능한 패브릭으로서의 발전가능성을 제시하였으며, 실생활에 적용가능하고 필요한 디자인 상품으로서의 모습을 작품을 통하여 제시하고자 한다.;Environmental issues have been extensively affected in recent years, ranging from the global environment to individual lifestyles and consumption patterns. With well-being and Rojas spreading to the consumer trend of the 21st century, demand for eco-friendly products is soaring and eco-friendly products are becoming an important criterion for consumers' choice of products. As consumers are interested in eco-friendly products in the textile industry, products that emphasize natural materials are on the rise. But today's increasingly high-tech and reckless development of the environment raises another problem with the depletion of natural resources and marginal production of natural materials as well as the accelerated social transformation structure. This raises the need for research of materials that can replace natural materials and sustainable fabric within the textile industry. Therefore, this study aims to recognize a type of natural fiber as an alternative eco-friendly one and to suggest its potential for development as a living fiber that can be used in real life. The material characteristics of the ham were summarized based on concept and type, and the material properties of the ham were compared and analyzed with the eco-friendly fiber. In order to enhance the possibility of development of the ham as a living fiber, the company conducted design research that could enhance aesthetic value, and increased the possibility of application as an interior fabric that can be used as furniture or props by finding motifs in natural objects, such as flowers and plants, and applying textual patterns. Hamps, classified as natural fibers, have been used as a material for industrial use. Through this study, the material properties of the ham were compiled based on the fiber structure and type, and similar characteristics of the nectar fiber and canap fiber representing eco-friendly fibers were analyzed. Based on these similar characteristics, it was found that the ham could be developed into an alternative eco-friendly fiber. To use this ham extensively as a living fiber. It was designed to enhance design aesthetics and proposed the potential to evolve into an interior fabric by applying printing techniques. The background of the textual pattern design to incorporate printing techniques was based on Arnubo, which used natural objects extensively, and to apply patterns to modern times under the influence of chintz patterns to share motifs' sense of the times. Through these textual design studies, Hamp presented the possibility of development as a fabric that can be applied with interior fabric such as furniture or curtains, and presented through his work as a design product that can be applied in real life.
