중국인 학습자를 위한 직업 목적 한국어 문화교육 방안 연구

Abstract

한중 무역 교류와 회사가 늘어나면서 중국이나 한국에 있는 한국 기업에 취업하는 중국인 수가 많아졌다. 중국인 한국어 학습자가 한국 기업에서 적응력을 높이기 위해서는 일반 목적 한국어뿐만 아니라 직업 목적의 한국어를 학습해야 하며, 한국 직장 문화를 학습하고 이해해야 한다. 그러나 지금까지 직업 목적의 한국어 교육에 대한 연구는 대다수 기능 능력의 함양에 집중되고 있으며, 직업 목적의 한국 문화교육에 대한 연구는 아직 활발히 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 직업 목적의 중국인 고급 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 웹툰을 활용하여 직업 목적 한국어의 문화교육 방안을 모색하는 데 있다. 이에 한·중 비즈니스 한국어 교재를 분석하고 직업 목적의 중국인 학습자에게 설문 조사와 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 그리고 교재 분석 결과와 학습자의 요구 조사 분석 결과에 따라 웹툰 <미생> 속의 적절한 직업 목적 한국어 문화 요소를 선정하고 문화 내용을 분석하였다. 마지막으로 웹툰을 활용한 문화교육 방안을 마련하여 <미생>의 한 문화 내용을 교육 방안 실례로 제시하였다. I장에서는 직업 목적 한국어 문화교육 연구의 필요성과 연구 목적, 연구 대상, 그리고 논문 진행 절차를 총체적으로 기술하고 한국어 문화교육에 대한 연구, 직업 목적의 한국어 문화교육에 대한 연구, 한국 비즈니스 문화 요소와 비즈니스 문화교육 방안에 대한 연구, 웹툰을 통한 문화교육에 대한 연구에 대한 선행 연구를 살펴보았다. Ⅱ장은 웹툰을 통한 직업 목적 문화교육에 관련된 이론적 배경을 고찰하였다. 선행 연구에서 검토했던 내용을 살펴보고 한국어 문화교육의 분류 및 목표, 그리고 직장 문화교육의 정의, 목표와 필요성에 대한 이론을 종합하여 정리하였다. 또한 웹툰이라는 장르는 인터넷 환경에서 만들어진 새로운 만화 장르이기에 이 장에서는 웹툰의 개념 및 특성, 또 웹툰을 활용한 교육을 중심으로 살펴보았다. Ⅲ장에서는 적절한 비즈니스 한국어의 문화 요소를 선정하기 위하여 두 가지 측면으로 분석하였다. 첫째 현재 비즈니스 한국어 교재에서의 직장 문화 요소와 선행 연구에서의 직장 문화 요소로 나누어 분석하였다. 두 번째, 설문 조사와 심층 인터뷰를 통해 중국인 한국어 학습자들의 직업 한국어 문화 학습과 웹툰을 활용한 문화교육에 대한 인식과 요구를 살펴보았다. IV장에서는 3장의 분석 결과에 따라 웹툰 <미생>에서 15개의 문화 요소를 선정하고 이를 바탕으로 문화 내용을 분석하였다. 더 나아가 직업 목적의 중국인 고급 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 웹툰을 활용한 직업 목적 한국어 문화교육 방안을 마련하였다. 특히 웹툰 <미생>에서의 전화 예절에 관한 문화 내용을 활용하여 구체적인 직업 문화교육 방안을 제안하였다. 마지막 V장은 본 연구의 결론 부분으로 논문 내용을 총괄적으로 정리하고 직장 문화교육의 방법론적 차원에서 이 논의가 가지는 의의와 한계에 대해 다루었다. 본고는 직업 목적의 한국어 문화교육의 중요성을 강조하고, 직업 목적의 중국인 고급 한국어 학습자를 위해 웹툰을 활용한 직장 문화교육 방안을 마련했다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.;With the development of South Korea-China trade exchanges and cooperation, an accumulated number of Chinese have been working in Korean enterprises located in both China and South Korea. It is imperative for these Chinese learners of Korean to conduct in-depth study in terms of the Korean workplace culture, other than mere language knowledge, to head towards enhanced working adaptability. However, to date, Korean language education for professional purposes mainly concentrates on linguistic knowledge and strategies per se. There is a notable dearth of research that sheds light on Korean cultural occupational education. The goal of the present study was to design applicable cultural pedagogical plans for business purposes for the advanced Chinese learners of Korean for professional purposes through investigating the related content in webtoons. To this end, this study scrutinized Business Korean textbooks published in China and South Korea and conducted questionnaires and intensive interviews with Chinese learners who aim at working in Korean enterprises. In view of the gained results, the cultural elements in Misaeng with teaching value are carefully picked out. In the end, this study selected a cultural element in Misaeng as an empirical case and designed the pedagogical cycle plan grounded on webtoons. Chapter 1 generally illustrated the research necessity, objective, participants and procedures of the Korean cultural vocational education. The literature review comprehensively covered previous research with regards to Korean cultural education, Korean cultural education for professional purposes, Korean business cultural elements, and business cultural pedagogical plans together with cultural education via webtoons. Chapter 2 investigated the theoretical background correlated with cultural education for professional purposes by virtue of webtoons. To begin with, the content discussed in previous research had been hackled and the categorization and object of Korean cultural education, the definition, purposes and inevitability of workplace cultural education had been integrated systematically. Moreover, considering that the webtoon is a genre freshly generated under the internet environment, the concepts and characteristics as well as the educational value of the webtoons had been delved into. In Chapter 3, so as to select apposite cultural elements in Business Korean, the cultural analysis concerning the cultural education for professional purposes had been unfolded in two aspects. On the one hand, the cultural elements in the cultural education for the professional purposes had been spelt out. The current study elucidated the workplace cultural elements in current business Korean textbook and the cultural elements argued in previous research. On the other hand, the requirements of the Chinese learners of Korean for the vocational purposes had been examined. The present study investigated the awareness and requirements of the business cultural study of Chinese learners of Korean and cultural teaching by virtue of webtoons through questionnaires and intensive interviews. The analysis results gained in the previous sections pave the way for the content of Chapter 4. This Chapter chose fifteen cultural elements in Misaeng and further explored how these cultural elements were embodied in the webtoon. In addition, the Korean cultural pedagogical plan for business purposes was designed for advanced Chinese learners of Korean for professional purposes by means of webtoons. It is noteworthy that the specific workplace cultural pedagogical plan, phone etiquette, was exhibited in the webtoon Misaeng. In a nutshell, Chapter 5 rendered conclusions where pedagogical implications in terms of Korean workplace cultural education were probed into and limitations of the present study was delivered. The present study highlighted the significance of Korean cultural education for professional purposes and designed a pedagogical plan for the advanced Chinese learners of Korean for professional purposes via application of webtoons. Thus, this study advanced the current literature and filled a certain gap.
