- 1. Purpose
The purpose of this text book is to have a better understanding of two selected countries for this textbook: Vietnam and China.
2. Target Students
-Age: 11th and 12th grade in high school
-Profociency level: slightly above high- intermidiate
3. Method -Theme-based instruction (TBI) -Intensive reading
4. Rationale Korea is considered as a relatively homogeneous nation and has been facing a rapid transition into multicultural society in recent years, especially Vietnamese and Chinese of influx of foreign spouses and immigrant workers.
5. Expected outcomes
-Expand their background knowledge of Vietnam and China
-Improve critical thinking skills relate to four language skills. (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking)
