내적 혼돈에 관한 표현 연구

Abstract

인간은 누구나 현실에서 이상과 욕망을 충족하기 위해 끝없이 노력하지만, 실제적으로 모든 것을 충족하는 경우는 극히 드물며, 이로 인해 대부분의 인간은 본질적으로 충족하지 못한 내적 갈등을 가지고 있다. 실제의 현실은 인간에게 많은 것을 한정한다. 현실에 살고 있는 인간은 물리적 한정이나 사회적 규제를 받고 그것의 굴레에서 벗어날 수 없기에 욕망과 소망은 모두 충족되지 않으며 완벽히 자신을 표출하기 어렵다. 인간의 삶 속에서 물리적 한정이나 어떠한 규정으로 인해 가로막힌 것들은 내면의 무의식적 영역으로 가라앉는다. 충족되지 못한 무의식적 욕망은 마음속에 온전히 남아있지만 어느 순간 이성적으로 의식할 수 없게 된다. 이 같은 무의식의 욕망은 서서히 잊히는 듯하지만 문득 잊고 있던 내면에 잠재된 욕망이 다시 수면 위로 올라왔을 때, 우리 인간은 현실 속에서 얼마나 한정적인 굴레 안에 갇혀 있는지 깨닫게 된다. 본 연구자는 현실에서 충족 불가능한 무의식 속의 내적 욕구에 대해 고뇌하고 한정된 현실에서 무의식적 욕망으로 인한 내적 욕구와 갈등을 겪는 인간상과 이것을 극복하고자 하는 의지를 시각적으로 표현하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이에 본 연구는 먼저 ‘Ⅱ. 내적 혼돈과 신화적 혼합 방식’에서 인간의 내적 혼돈 정체를 인간, 외부 환경, 현대인 등의 개념에서 찾고 이를 충족하기 위한 방법으로 비현실적 표현 개념에 대해 서술한다. 이를 서술하기 위해 신화적 표현 방식 중 하나인 혼합으로 만들어진 비현실적 이미지에 대하여 연구한다. ‘Ⅲ. 작품의 전개’에서는 작업의 조형적 방법론을 분석한다. 내적 혼돈을 다양한 방식으로 표현하기 위하여 두 가지 방법으로 분석하여 주제에 접근하는 방식에 대해 이야기한다. 인간의 내적 혼돈과 고뇌를 인체만의 혼합으로 표현하거나 나아가 의인화로 표현한 식물이나 사물을 혼합하고 보다 은유적 방식으로 표현하여 모호한 내적 혼돈을 구체적으로 시각화 하였다. ‘Ⅳ. 작품 분석’에는 7점의 작품을 작품의 제작 동기와 의도, 주제를 위한 제작 방식 등 조형적 방법론으로 분석한다. 모호한 내적 혼돈스러움을 시각화하고자 시도했던 인체 혼합 드로잉 작업을 시작으로 인체 드로잉을 석고로 제작하여 입체적으로 표현하였다. 나아가 인체뿐만 아니라 식물이나 사물을 혼합한 이미지를 입체적으로 표현한 작업 등을 포함한 7점의 작품을 제시하여 본 연구자의 내적 욕망이 충족되지 않기 때문에 나타나는 고뇌와 불안, 혼돈을 표현한다. 작품 표현 연구에서 중점을 두고 있는 요소는 신화적 방식의 혼합이다. 신화에 나타나는 이종 혹은 동종의 혼합으로 표현된 이미지들은 신화의 특징인 환상성을 가지고 있다. 환상은 현실에서 이루어질 수 없는 것들을 야기하며 어떠한 제약이나 한계가 없는 무한의 영역이기에 현실적으로 표현하기 어려운 추상적인 개념을 표현 가능하도록 하였다. 작품은 이같이 환상적인 신화적 혼합으로 표현되어 정의내리기 어려운 추상적인 내면의 혼돈을 다양한 이미지로 나타난다. 본 연구는 형언할 수 없는 억압된 무의식 속에서 나타나는 내적 혼돈을 파헤치며 그에 의한 충족 불가능한 내적 고통을 신화의 형식을 차용하여 형식적 방법으로 내적 갈등을 작품으로 표현하였고 이를 통해 나타나는 다양한 이미지들 속에서 본 연구자의 내적 고통을 이해하고 충족하고자 하는 의의를 가졌다. 우리는 한정된 현실 속에서 스스로의 내적 혼돈에 대해 인식은 하고 있지만 명료하게 정의내릴 수 없고 의식적으로 충족하지 못하기에 한정된 인식을 벗어나 비현실적인 무한한 환상성을 통해 다양한 내면의 이미지들을 만들어내고 접하여 자유로운 내면을 경험하고자 하였다.;Every human being tries endlessly to satisfy ideals and desires in reality, but it is extremely rare for practically everything to be met, which is why most human beings have internal conflicts that are inherently unsatisfied. The actual reality is very limited to humans. Human beings living in reality are subject to physical limitations or social restrictions and cannot escape its restriction, so neither desire nor wish is fulfilled and it is difficult to express oneself completely. Things blocked by physical limitations or certain regulations in human life sink into inner unconscious areas. Unsatisfied unconscious desires remain intact in the mind, but at some point they become irrationally unconscious. This unconscious desire seems to be slowly forgotten, but when the inner latent desire, which had suddenly been forgotten, comes back to the surface, we human beings realize how trapped we are in the real world. The purpose of this research is to visually express the human mind and the will to overcome the unconscious conflicts of unconscious desires in a limited reality and the desire to overcome them. This study is first ‘II. In the Internal Chaos and Mythological Mixing Methods’, we find the inner Chaos identity of man in the concepts of man, external environment, modern man, etc. and describe the concept of unrealistic expression as a way to satisfy it. To describe this, we study the unrealistic images created by mixing, one of the mythological representations. In ‘III. The Development of Art Works’, the modality methodology of work is analyzed. Analyze the internal confusion in two ways to express it in various ways and talk about the approach to the topic. A more metaphorical way of expressing human inner chaos and anguish as a mixture of human beings, or even plants or objects expressed in anthropomorphism, was used to visualize ambiguous inner chaos specifically. In ‘IV. Analysis of Art Works’, seven works are analyzed in a formative methodology, including the production motive and intent of the works and the way they are produced for the subject. Starting with human mixing drawing, which was attempted to visualize the ambiguity of internal confusion, human drawing was produced in plaster and expressed in three dimensions. Furthermore, it presents seven works, including three-dimensional representations of images of plants and objects, as well as human beings, expressing anguish, anxiety and confusion that arise because the researchers' inner desires are not met. The element that focuses on the study of work expression is a mixture of mythological methods. Images expressed in myths as a mixture of dissimilarity or homogeneity have the imagination that is characteristic of myth. Imagination has allowed us to express abstract concepts that are difficult to express realistically because they cause things that cannot be done in real life and are an infinite domain without any limitations or limitations. The work is expressed in such a fantastic mythical mixture that the abstract inner chaos that is hard to define appears in a variety of images. This study explored the inner confusion that arose in the indescribable suppressed unconscious and expressed the internal conflict as a work in a formal way by borrowing the form of myth, and was intended to understand and satisfy the inner suffering of the researcher in the various images that appeared through it. In the limited reality, we are aware of our own internal chaos, but we are not clearly defined and consciously unsatisfied, so we want to create and experience free inner images through unrealistic and boundless fantasies.
