dc.description.abstract | In Korean secondary schools, the washback effect leaves many English teachers without any choice but to teach to the test. This means that English education focuses on receptive skills more heavily than productive skills. While students’ listening and reading skills become more developed, their speaking and writing skills tend to be neglected. (Choi, 2008). In addition, many students dread writing in English because they lack confidence or they do not like writing at all. Students need more practice writing in meaningful contexts with engaging and motivating activities to help them become better and more enthusiastic writers. The following textbook is designed to give students supported practice writing in different genres. | - |
