베트남 학습자를 위한 한국어 발음 교육 연구

Abstract

이 연구는 베트남 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 한 한국어 발음 교육 방안에 대한 연구이다. 현재 한국어는 영어와 더불어 베트남 젊은이들이 가장 많이 선택하는 언어 중의 하나가 되었으나 말하기 교육이 학습자의 요구를 만족시키지 못하는 실정이다. 외국어를 배울 때 가장 먼저 배워야 하는 것은 발음임에도 불구하고 대부분 교육기관에서 발음 교육을 중요하게 여기지 않고 있다. 의사소통 중심 교육의 중요성이 간과되고 있는 베트남에서는 발음 교육보다 문법을 일차적으로 가르치고 있으나, 정확한 발음구사는 한국어의 유창성을 평가하는 중요한 기준이 되기 때문에 발음 교육을 간과해서는 안 된다. 발음은 가장 중요한 기능 중의 하나임이 분명하나 교수·학습 활동에서 깊이 주의하지 않고 넘어가서 발음상의 오류를 겪는 것을 피할 수 없다. 그러므로 베트남 학습자들이 한국어 발음 오류를 극복할 수 있기 위해서 이 연구에서는 베트남의 한국어 교육에서 베트남 학습자들의 발음 오류 유형을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 효과적인 발음 교육 방안을 모색하는 것을 목표로 하였다.;The aim of this study is to create the basic materials to teach Korean pronunciation for Vietnamese students. Currently Korean Studies is one of the most popular majors among universities in Vietnam. Because nowadays the majority of Vietnamese youth have been influenced by Korean culture, including K-drama and K-pop, they decide to learn Korean for the purpose of getting closer to Korean culture and Korean people. However, as a Korean learner, the researcher realized that in universities that teach Korean studies or Korean language centers, teachers pay more attention to teaching grammar and lexis than pronunciation and speaking. Meanwhile, these two components are crucial in learning a foreign language. As a result of this negligence, teachers do not focus on correcting the wrong pronunciation for students from the first alphabet lessons. Therefore, in order to ameliorate this situation, the researcher decided to study how to teach Korean pronunciation effectively for students in Vietnam.
