온라인 정보보호 행동력이 부족한 요인에 대한 연구

Abstract

요즘 사람들이 개인정보보호는 점점 더 중요하다고 인식하고 있지만 개인정보 유출로 인한 사건은 계속 발생한다. 특히 중ᆞ노년층을 대상으로 개인정보유출 사고가 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 상황에 기반하여 본 연구는 중ᆞ노년층을 대상으로 정보보호 행동이 부족한 원인을 수정된 보호동기이론을 통하여 분석하며 한국과 중국 중ᆞ노년층의 정보보안 교육 경험 여부에 따른 온라인 개인 정보보호 행동에 미치는 영향의 차이를 살펴보았다. 구조 방정식을 구축한 연구 결과, 위협 평가의 2개 변수인 지각된 심각성과 지각된 취약성만 온라인 개인정보보호 인식에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 대처평가의 3개 변수인 지각된 장애, 자기효능감, 반응효능감 모두 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 개인정보보호 인식은 개인 정보보호 행동에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 교육을 받은 중ᆞ노년층과 그렇지 않은 중ᆞ노년층 사이에 정보보호 행동에 차이가 있었다. 특히 한국 중ᆞ노년층은 교육을 받은 사람들이 정보보호 행동을 더 많이 하였지만, 중국은 교육 여부가 정보보호 행동에 차이를 주지 않았다. 본 연구는 이러한 선행연구의 결과와 일치하지 않은 결과가 나오는 이유를 분석하며 이 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구 방향도 제시하였다.;Recently, many people understand importance of personal information protection. However, the number of personal information breach does not decrease. Especially, the number of personal information breach targeting middle-aged and elderly people rapidly increases. By adopting protection motivation theory, this research investigated why middle-aged and elderly people cannot do more personal information protection behavior. This research also focused on the impact of education about personal information protection on personal information protection behavior. By constructing structural equation modeling, it was revealed that only perceived severity and perceived vulnerability affected information security awareness. On contrast, it was also discovered that perceived barriers, self-efficacy, and response efficacy did not affect information security awareness. In addition to these discoveries, the awareness did not affect information security behavior, either. Plus, middle-aged and elderly people with personal information protection education did more protection behavior than people without the education. Especially, Korean middle-aged and elderly people with education significantly did more protection behavior than the people without the education.
