Abstract

본 논문은 본인의 석사과정을 위한 졸업연주 곡목인 J. S. Bach의 『Well-tempered Clavier Book I, No. 12 in f minor, BWV 857』과 『Well-tempered Clavier Book II, No. 11 in F Major, BWV 880』, L. v. Beethoven의 『Piano Sonata No.7 in D Major, Op.10-3』, F. Chopin의 『Ballade No.4 in f minor, Op. 52』, H. Dutilleux의 『Sonata pour Piano, Op. 1, III. Choral et variation』에 대한 연구이다. 요한 세바스티안 바흐(Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750)는 기악음악이 발전하기 시작한 바로크 시대를 대표하는 인물로서, 12개의 장조와 단조로 이루어진 48개의 Prelude와 Fugue로 편성된 두 권의 평균율곡집을 작곡하였다. 『Well-tempered Clavier Book I, No. 12 in f minor, BWV 857』은 4성으로 구성된 프렐류드와 푸가로 f단조의 깊은 슬픔의 분위기가 잘 드러나는 작품이며, 프렐류드와 푸가의 분위기가 긴밀하게 연결되어 있다. 『Well-tempered Clavier Book II, No. 11 in F Major, BWV 880』은 3성으로 구성되어 있으며, 프렐류드와 푸가의 대조적인 분위기가 특징적이다. 루드비히 반 베토벤(Ludwig van Beethoven, 1770-1827)은 고전주의 음악을 대표하는 작곡가로서 낭만주의 음악으로의 교량 역할을 한 독일의 작곡가이다. 베토벤의 32개의 소나타 중 초기 작품인 『Piano Sonata No.7 in D Major, Op.10-3』은 이전의 고전형식에서 더 나아가, 자유로운 형식과 주제의 발전을 위한 그의 시도가 드러나는 작품으로 1악장과 2악장은 ‘소나타-알레그로’ 3악장은 ‘미뉴엣-트리오’ 4악장은 ‘론도’형식으로 이루어져 있다. 쇼팽(Frederic Chopin, 1810-1849)은 19세기 중기의 낭만파 작곡가이며, 낭만음악의 정신을 피아노라는 악기를 통해 잘 표현한 작곡가이다. 발라드란 서사시 또는 짧은 노래를 말하는데 특정한 형식이 없다. 그의 발라드 중에서 마지막 곡인『Ballade No.4 in f minor, Op. 52』은 쇼팽의 반음계적이며 서정적인 선율과 풍부한 화성적 특징이 잘 나타난다. 뒤티유(Henri Dutilleux, 1916-2013)는 20세기 현대음악을 대표하는 프랑스인 작곡가로 자신만의 고유한 개성을 나타내는 작곡가이다. 『Sonata pour piano, Op.1』 은 그가 작품번호를 처음으로 부여한 곡으로, 전통적인 소나타 형식과현대적인 어법을 융합하였다. 이 곡은 3악장 구성으로, 그 중 본 논문에서 다루는 제 3 악장은 변주곡 형식이며, 각 주제의 동기들은 계속해서 변형되어 모방, 확대, 축소된 형태로 등장한다. 화성적으로는 이중조성과 무조성이 나타나지만 악장의 시작과 끝은 확실한 조성이 느껴진다. 또한 다양한 리듬의 세분화와 변박이 나타나며 템포를 나타내는 지시어가 많이 쓰였다.;This thesis is a research of J. S. Bach's 『well-tempered clavier Book 1, No. 12 in f minor, BWV 857』, 『well-tempered clavier Book 2, No. 11 in F major, BWV 880』, L. v. Beethoven' s 『Piano Sonata No. 7 in D major, Op. 10-3』, F. Chopin's 『Ballade No. 4 in f minor Op. 52』 and H. Dutilleux's 『Piano Sonata Op. 1』, III. Choral et Variations, which were performed in the author's graduation recital for the master degree. Johann Sebastian Bach(1685-1750), the representative figure of the baroque music, composed 48 preludes and fugues in his 2 volumes of 『Well-tempere d Claviers』, in which all 24 majors and minors key used. 『Well-tempered Clavier Book 1, No. 12 in f minor, BWV 857』 is written in a 4 voiced texture expressing a deep sadness in f minor, and the preludes and the fugue are closely connected in atmosphere. Prelude and fugue in 『Well-tempered Clavier Book 2, No.11 in F Major, BWV 880』 are composed of 3 voices and they are contrasting in character. Ludwig van Beethoven(1770-1827) is the representative composer in the Classical period, who played a role of bridge to the Romanticism. 『The Piano Sonata No. 7 in D Major Op. 10-3』, one of his early Piano Sonatas, reveals his attempts for developing freer forms and themes beyond the conventions in the past. The 1st & 2nd movements are composed of Sonata-Allegro form, the 3rd movement in minuet-trio and the 4th movement in Rondo form. Frederic Chopin(1810-1849) is a 19th-century composer who exceedingly expressed the spirit of Romanticism in his piano works. The ballade is referred to an epic in music which has no peculiar form. 『Ballade No. 4 in f minor Op. 52』, Chopin's last ballade, shows his chromatic scales and lyrical melodies. It also reveals his colorful harmonic palettes. Henri Dutilleux(1916-2013) is the French composer who represents 20th century music and exhibits his unique individuality through his musical works. He gave his first opus number to 『Sonata pour piano』 in which he amalgamated the traditional sonata format and the modern expression. This musical work consists of 3 movements, and motives in the 『III. Choral et variations』 repeatedly appear using imitation, augmentation, and diminution. Despite its double tonality and atonality, the beginning and the end of each movement clearly show a feeling of tonality. He also used a number of tempo indications in this musical piano work.
