Abstract

A graphic symbol is a tool for delivering information rapidly and precisely. This study examines the possibility of the development of a graphic symbol as. An explanatory graphic symbol, which enables the interpretation of an expression and the meaning of an appropriate visual cue, conveys meaning smoothly. An emotional graphic symbol that shares personal experiences enables smooth communication by sharing information in terms of common interest. This study examines the possibility of the development of a graphic symbol appropriately designed according to place context, situational context, and conceptual context. The study predicts the possibility of developing a graphic symbol as a medium of information delivery by improving its ability to convey meaning by sharing experiences. © 2017 International Information Institute.
