Abstract
This thesis is written for researcher’s programs of Master degree graduation concert. It is focused and written in Sonata No.5 in C major for Flute and Piano K.V.14 of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), Grand Polonaise Op.16 of Theobald Boehm (1794-1881), Nocturne and Allegro Scherzando for Flute and Piano of Philippe Gaubert (1879-1941) and La flute de Pan Op.15 for Flute and Piano of Jules Mouquet (1867-1946). Sonata No.5 in C major for Flute and Piano K.V.14 composed by Austrian composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is the fifth composition of six Sonatas for flute and piano. It was written in 1764, at the age of eight and this composition represents the typical Sonata form of the classical period music. Grand Polonaise Op.16 is the one that well expressed composition in romantic period in 1822 composed by German composer and flutist, Theobald Boehm, including wide range of melody, rhythm and harmony with splendid techniques of flute. Nocturne and Allegro Scherzando for Flute and Piano by French composer, conductor and flutist Philippe Gaubert, was composed under the influence of Debussy and Ravel contain deep imagination of a musician who longed for new possibilities of flute through dreamlike and wide color which is characteristic of impressionistic music. French borned, Jules Mouquet composed La flute de Pan Op.15 for Flute and Piano in 1906 and it affected from late romantic period music and impressionism composers. In additionally it also covers tendency of program music. Each movement is named a title as well as the whole title of the composition.;본 논문은 본 연구자의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주회 프로그램인 볼프강 아마데우스 모차르트(Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756-1791)의 Sonata No.5 in C major for Flute and Piano K.V.14, 테오발트 뵘(Theobald Boehm, 1794-1881)의 Grand Polonaise Op.16, 필립 고베르(Philippe Gaubert, 1879-1941)의 Nocturne and Allegro Scherzando for Flute and Piano, 쥘 무케(Jules Mouquet, 1867-19 46)의 La flute de Pan Op.15 for Flute and Piano를 중심으로 연구하였다. 오스트리아 작곡가 볼프강 아마데우스 모차르트의 Sonata No.5 in C major for Flute and Piano K.V.14는 6개의 플루트와 피아노를 위한 소나타 중 5번째 곡으로 그의 나이 8세인 1764년에 작곡되었으며 이 작품은 고전주의 시대 소나타 형식의 전형적인 면모를 보여준다. 독일 작곡가, 악기 개량가 및 플루티스트인 테오발트 뵘의 Grand Polonaise Op.16은 1822년 낭만 시대에 작곡된 작품으로 폭넓은 멜로디, 폴로네이즈 리듬, 다양한 화성 등이 특징이며 플루트의 화려한 기교가 돋보이는 곡이다. 프랑스 작곡가, 지휘자 및 플루티스트인 필립 고베르의 작품 중 하나인 Nocturne and Allegro Scherzando for Flute and Piano는 드뷔시와 라벨의 영향을 많이 받아 작곡되었으며 인상주의 시대 음악의 특징인 몽환적이고 폭넓은 색채를 통해 플루트의 새로운 가능성을 열망했던 음악가의 깊은 상상을 보여준다. 프랑스 작곡가 쥘 무케의 La flute de Pan Op.15 for Flute and Piano는 후기 낭만주의와 인상주의 작곡가들의 영향을 많이 받아 1906년에 작곡되었으며 곡 제목뿐만 아니라 각 악장마다 타이틀이 붙는 후기 낭만주의 시대 음악의 특징 중 하나인 표제 음악의 모습도 갖추고 있다.
