Abstract

본 논문은 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주회 프로그램에 관한 연구로서 고전 시대에서 낭만 시대로 넘어가는 시기의 이태리 작곡가 조아키노 로시니(Gioachino Antonio Rossini, 1792-1868), 그리고 19세기의 진보적인 작곡가이자 낭만주의 음악을 대표하는 프란츠 리스트(Franz Liszt, 1811-1886), 20세기 스페인 음악을 발전시킨 페르난도 오브라도스(Fernando Obradors 1897-1945)의 가곡들을 연구하였다. 본 논문에서 필자는 조아키노 로시니의 생애와 그 시대에 자리잡은 벨칸토 양식으로 작곡된 세 곡 <꾸지람>(Il Rimprovero), <알프스의 양치는 소녀>(La pastorella delle Alpi), <약속>(La Promessa)에 나타난 가사의 음악적 표현들을 살펴보았다. 로시니는 장문의 시 한 부분을 선택하여 적재적소에 맞게 음악을 붙여 곡의 완성도를 높였다. 프란츠 리스트의 세 개의 가곡은 프랑스 낭만파 시인 빅토르 위고(Victor Hugo)의 시로 만들어진 아름다운 곡이다. <만약에 매력적인 잔디밭이 있다면>(S'il est un charmant gazon), <오! 내가 잠들었을 때>(Oh! quand je dors), <내가 만약 왕이라면>(Enfant, si j'étais roi)의 곡들은 리스트가 시의 구조에 맞는 가곡의 형식을 선택하였으며 시를 표현하기 위해 서정적인 멜로디, 그리고 풍부한 화성과 폭넓은 셈여림들로 화자의 내면을 나타냈다. 또한, 반주부도 시의 분위기를 표현하는 데에 도움을 주기 위해 펼침화음(arpeggio) 혹은 분산화음을 사용하여 곡을 풍성하게 표현하였고, 그에 상응하는 음악 기호를 표시하였다. 20세기 초반을 대표하는 페르난도 오브라도스의 일곱 개의 스페인 고전 가곡《7Canciones Clásicas Españolas》중 살펴볼 4개의 가곡은 기존 민요를 재현하거나 혹은 응용하여 만든 곡이다. 빠른 곡에서부터 서정적이고 느린 곡까지 효과적으로 편곡하여 스페인 특유의 리듬감과 음감을 표현하였다.;This thesis is a study of the graduation recital program for the Master's degree. The study discusses the art songs of Gioachino Antonio Rossini (1792-1868), an Italian composer who moved from the classical period to the romantic age, Franz Liszt who was a 19th century progressive Hungarian composer and pianist (1811-1886), and Fernando Obradors (1897-1945), who developed the Spanish music in the 20th century. In this study, the author examines the life of Gioachino Rossini and the musical aspect of the three songs, including ‘Il Rimprovero’,‘La pastorella delle Alpi’, and ‘La Promessa’ that were composed in the bel canto style. He selected a part of a long poem and composed the melody into the right place. Franz Liszt’s three beautiful melodies are composed based on the poetry of Victor Hugo, a French romantic poet. Liszt have chosen the proper song form of the songs, ‘S'il est un charmant gazon’, ‘Oh! Quand je dors’, and ‘Enfant, si J'étais roi’, that matches the structure of the poem. Lyrical melodies are used to express the poem and rich harmonies with broad dynamics are used to convey the inner aspect of the speaker. In addition, the accompaniment has also used the arpeggio or decentralized chord to express the music in abundance and display the corresponding musical symbols to help express the atmosphere of the poem. Four songs from <7Canciones Clásicas Españolas> by Fernando Obradors, who represents the spain music in the early 20th century, are reproduced or applied to existing folk songs. From fast to lyrical and slow songs, arrangements are effectively made and showed the unique Spanish rhythm and pitch.
