국내 청소년 대상 음악 선호 관련 조사연구 고찰

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 국내 청소년 대상 음악 선호 관련 조사연구를 분석하여 청소년 음악 선호의 치료적 의미를 고찰하는 것이다. 이에 1999년부터 2018년 4월까지의 학술지 연구 10편과 학위논문 39편, 총 49편의 문헌을 선정하여 연구의 전반적 현 황과 조사 문항의 구성 및 내용을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 국내 청소년 대상 음악 선호 관련 조사연구는 음악교육학에서 주로 연구되었으며, 음악에 대한 선호 반응보 다는 선호 행동에 대한 조사가 이루어지고 있었다. 2014년 이후에는 학술지에 게재 된 연구의 수가 증가하였고, 청소년의 음악 선호와 심리적 특성과의 상관관계를 분 석하는 설명적 연구가 주로 이루어지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구의 조사 방법을 분석하였을 때 음악을 제시하지 않고 선호를 조사하는 언어적 조사가 주로 이루어졌 으며, 2014년 이후에는 조사 문항 구성의 논거를 제시한 연구가 증가하였으나 조사 문항의 신뢰도 및 타당도 검증과 함께 연구 대상자 연령의 명시가 필요한 것으로 나 타났다. 청소년의 음악 선호를 치료적 관점에서 조사한 연구의 경우, 음악 선호의 변인은 학문적 배경과 무관하게 청소년들의 음악 감상, 노래 부르기, 악기 연주 등 의 음악 활동에 대한 조사가 가장 많이 이루어졌다. 또한, 임상 현장에서 청소년의 음악 선호 연구 결과를 활용하기 위해서는 음악의 정서적, 사회적, 인지적 기능에 대한 인식 및 활용에 관한 조사 문항을 포함시킬 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 치료적 관점에서 청소년 대상 음악 선호 조사연구 방법에 대한 정보를 제공 하였으며, 분석 결과를 통해 향후 청소년 대상 음악 선호 조사연구의 방향 및 임상 현장에의 활용 방안을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.;The purpose of this study is to analyze the therapeutic implication of adolescent’s music preference by review of survey research. The research was searched from 1999 to April 2018, selected 10 academic journals, 39 thesis were analyzed in two aspects: general traits, survey questionaries. As result of the analysis, research on music preferences of adolescents have been studied mainly in music education, and has been conducted on preference behavior for music. Since 2014, the number of researches published in academic journals has increased, with explanatory research analyzing the relationship between music preferences and psychological characteristics of adolescents. To analyze the method of the survey, verbal instruments were conducted mainly to examine preferences without presenting music. Since 2014, research has increased on the basis of the survey questionaries, but it is necessary to specify the age of the participants and to verifying the reliability and validity of questionaries. In the therapeutic research of adolescent’s music preferences, in regardless of academic background, variation in music preferences was the most common of music activities, including listening, singing, and playing musical instruments. In addition, questionaries on cognitive and use of music as emotional, social, cognitive function were required to be included in the clinical field in order to utilize the results of research. This study provided information on how to survey music preferences of adolescents from a therapeutic point of view, and it was meaningful that the analysis results suggested the direction of future research on music preferenced of adolescents and hot to use it for clinical sites.
