텍스트마이닝을 활용한 비트코인 관련 뉴스 경향 분석

Abstract

최근 몇 년간 빅데이터 연구에서 텍스트 마이닝 기법이 눈에 띄게 발전해왔으며, 텍스트 분석을 통해 의미 있는 정보를 얻고 실제 생활에 활용하는 사례가 증가하고 있다. 텍스트 마이닝을 통해 특정 분야의 흐름 및 고객의 선호도를 파악하여 마케팅에 활용하거나, 특정 영화에 대한 대중의 평가를 텍스트 마이닝을 이용해 분석하기도 한다. 이 논문에서는 사회적 주요 쟁점이 되었던 비트코인과 관련된 뉴스 자료를 수집 및 분석하여 텍스트 분석 기법의 유효성을 입증해 보고자 한다. 비트코인은 블록체인 기술을 기반으로 만들어진 온라인 암호화폐의 한 종류로서 우리나라뿐만 아니라 미국, 유럽 등 세계 각국의 정부와 언론에 주목을 받고 일종의 기축통화 역할을 하고 있다. 최근 이러한 신개념 화폐의 가치가 급락을 반복하면서 우리나라 전반에 커다란 파장을 일으키고 있다. 따라서 비트코인의 가치가 급격하게 변화했던 시점을 기준으로 전후 두 기간으로 나누고, 각 기간의 뉴스를 비교 분석하기로 한다. 수집된 기간별 데이터의 빈도분석, 동시 출현 관계 분석, 토픽 분석 결과에서 비트코인이 현 상황에서 갖는 의미와 비트코인이 미치는 사회적 영향력, 자료 수집 시기에 따른 차이점을 발견하고자 한다.;In recent years, text mining techniques have developed remarkably in big data analysis, and it has been used to obtain meaningful information and applied to real life. Through text mining, we can grasp trends and customer preferences in specific areas of markets. Also, we can analyze the public's evaluation of specific movies using text mining. In this paper, we show the validity of the text mining by collecting and analyzing the news data related to the bit coin which has been a social main issue. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency based on block-chain technology. It serves as a key currency, not only in Korea but also in the US and Europe. Recently, the value of bitcoin has repeatedly fluctuated, causing a huge social problems in Korea. In this paper, we analyze news on bit coin and examine social influence of bit coin in current situation. In addition, we divide two periods based on the time when the value of bitcoin changed suddenly, and compare the news of each period. We carry out frequency analysis, network analysis and topic analysi to find out the difference associated with the opinion of the public from the collected data.
