Abstract
Introduction Target learners: From 3rd to 5th graders who have experienced of learning English for one or two years in an English academy. Learning setting: Lectures in an English academy; six to eight students in a classroom. Rationale: developing young learners’ language fluency with interesting topics and practical activities. Goal To ensure students understand basic knowledge different types of insect. To improve four language skills with various topics. Methodology Content Based Instruction (CBI) Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) Expected outcomes Students will be able to obtain background knowledge about insects’ recent issues. Students will be able to encounter specific grammar terms based on the topic. Students will be able to develop their language fluency through several practices. Students will be able to get rid of fears of reading/writing by plentiful practices in various topics. Students will be able to obtain additional knowledge/skills through class activities.
