포괄적인 음악성을 위한 초급과정 피아노 초견 교안 개발

Abstract

초견은 새로운 악보를 사전 연습 없이 멈추지 않고 끝까지 완주해 내는 연주능력을 말한다. 주어진 시간 안에서 새로운 작품에 대한 호기심과 도전의식을 갖고, 스스로 악보를 구조적으로 분석하여 연주하기 때문에 음악에 대한 흥미와 자신감을 갖게 한다. 초견은 음악학습에 있어 시간을 투자할 충분한 가치가 있는 기술이기에 훈련을 해야 하고, 이 훈련에 따라 능력이 향상 될 수 있다. 초견을 잘 하기 위하여 학습자는 포괄적이고 균형 잡힌 음악 교육으로 음악적 이해와 숙련된 기술, 그리고 순발력과 판단력을 길러야 한다. 이러한 이유로 포괄적인 음악이 포함된 많은 음악 활동 중 본 논문에서 연구하고자 하는 것은 초견이다. 피아노 교사는 초견 지도에 대하여 한계를 가지고 과거에 배웠던 방식으로 지도하여 학습자 스스로 초견 능력이 향상되길 기대하고 있다. 하지만 초견은 어느 학습자라도 학습에 따라 능력을 계발 시킬 수 있다. 국내에서의 초견 지도에 대한 효과적인 교수법은 아직 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 초급과정 초견 교안을 제시함으로 학습자들이 균형 잡힌 음악 교육을 받고, 국내 피아노 교수학에 있어 초견 교육의 활성화에 기여하는 것이다. 본 연구자는 피아노 초견 지도에 관련된 선행연구와 국내에 출판된 초견 관련 교재 4종을 선정하여 초견 능력 향상 요인과 교수방법 등에 대해 조사하였다. 이것을 바탕으로 포괄적인 음악성을 위한 초급과정 피아노 초견 교안을 연구하였다. 본 연구자가 조사한 초견 향상요인으로는 눈과 두뇌의 움직임, 손의 건반위치 인식, 패턴 인식, 내청능력, 시창과 청음, 기억력, 예측능력, 합주 경험 총 8가지이며, 이 요인들을 종합하여 만든 교안을 통해 학습자는 초견 능력이 향상 될 뿐만 아니라 포괄적인 음악 교육과 질적인 음악교육을 받을 수 있게 될 것이다. 본 연구를 통해 교사에게 준비되고 균형 잡힌 피아노 교육방법이 제공되기를 기대하며, 초견에 대한 교수학적 연구와 함께 더 나아가 포괄적인 음악성에 대한 음악 교육 연구에 기여할 수 있기를 바란다.;The act of sight-reading is being able to interpret a piece of music and performing it in a limited period of time. This requires enough understanding of how the music is structured, and mature technique, as well as dexterous instinct and judgement. Because favorable sight-reading increases interest and confidence, it is a worthwhile investment of time, much like technical training and music-reading training. The purpose of this study is for students to be able to receive a balanced music education. I have devised a sight-reading teaching plan from beginner level in order to encourage comprehensive musicianship, which may be beneficial in piano pedagogy within the country, as well as contributing to the advancement of sight reading practice. This thesis explores the possibilities of the guidance in sight reading. With the assistance of previous studies and four published methods, I was able to delve further into the improvement factors of sight reading as well as pedagogy methods. The improvement factors affecting one’s sight reading skills that I selected were one’s sight and cognitive activities, the tactile awareness of one’s hand placement on the keyboard, pattern recognition, inner hearing, sight singing and music dictation, memory, prediction, and ensemble experiences, adding up to a total of eight different factors. Those who are taught following these sight reading instruction containing these eight factors will not only increase their sight reading abilities, but also their comprehensive musicianship and receive quality training. Through this study, I expect teachers to be able to be prepared to give a balanced education to students. Also, I wish for a study on comprehensive musicianship to be carried out as a continuation of this study on sight reading.
