박물관‧미술관 문화예술교육 프로그램 개발 및 효과성 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 21세기 국제사회에서 대두되고 있는 문화예술교육에 대해 살펴보고, 2012년부터 문화예술교육의 일환으로 시작된 꿈다락 토요문화학교 교육 프로그램 개발 및 이에 따른 교육의 효과성을 논의하는 것에 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 박물관․미술관 교육 및 문화예술교육에 대한 이론적 고찰을 토대로 2017년 꿈다락 토요문화학교 박물관 연계 프로그램으로 선정된 이화박물관 미술 연계 문화예술교육 프로그램을 기획하고, 본 교육 프로그램의 운영자와 문화예술교육 전문가, 참여자들을 대상으로 박물관․미술관 문화예술교육 프로그램에 대한 평가 및 효과성에 대한 자료 수집을 바탕으로 연구의 결론을 도출하고자 한다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구방법은 다음과 같이 제시할 수 있다. 첫째, 박물관‧미술관교육, 문화예술교육에 대한 이론적 고찰을 통해 문화예술교육 프로그램의 설계과정에 필요한 자료들을 수집하였다. 둘째, 박물관․미술관 문화예술교육프로그램을 기획하고 이에 대한 효과성을 검증하기 위해 2017년 이화박물관 꿈다락 토요문화학교 미술 연계 문화예술교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 셋째, 연구자가 개발한 프로그램에 대한 효과성을 측정하기 위해 한국문화예술교육진흥원의 연구 ‘2016 문화예술교육 효과측정 지표’에서 제시하고 있는 효과성 설문지를 바탕으로 참여자 39명을 대상으로 사전‧사후 검사를 실시하였다. 넷째, 문화예술교육프로그램 개발에 대한 평가 및 효과성을 알아보기 위해 전문가 컨설팅, 교육운영자, 참여자 면담, 교육 참여관찰을 통해 기록한 참관록 등의 관련 자료들을 수집하고 이에 대한 분석을 진행하였다. 교육 후, 검사 결과의 통계처리는 SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Science) Ver 21.0 통계패키지 프로그램을 사용하여 사전‧사후 검사를 비교, 분석하였으며, 이에 대한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사전 검사에 비해 교육 진행 후, 사후 검사결과에서 문화예술교육의 효과 성이 모든 영역에서 더 높게 측정되었다. 둘째, 효과성 검사의 하위영역인 정서적, 인지적, 문화적, 사회적 영역에서 유의미한 차이를 보여, 본 연구에서 제시하고 있는 교육 이후 참여자들에게 미치는 효과성이 높게 측정된 것으로 나타났다. 또한 프로그램 평가의 측면과 관련하여 실시한 전문가 컨설팅, 교육 운영자, 참여자의 면담을 통해 다음과 같은 사실을 알 수 있었다. 첫째, 프로그램 기획 과정에서 반영되었던 교육의 목표는 기존의 기능중심 예술교육을 탈피한 문화‧예술 역량의 변화를 구체적으로 제시하여 문화예술교육의 가치가 반영된 교육 프로그램임을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 교육의 내용과 방법적인 면에서 미술영역의 중점적 연계, 회차 별 교육 내용 심화 구성을 통한 학습자 중심의 자율적인 문화예술교육 활동을 지향하고 있음을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제시하고 있는 교육 프로그램을 통해 참여자들의 문화예술교육 효과성이 통계적으로 유의미한 결과를 보이고 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 전문가, 교육운영자의 심층면담 결과 자료를 토대로 미술 연계 문화예술교육 프로그램의 적합성을 검증하였고, 이는 참여자들에게 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤음을 확인할 수 있었다. 결과적으로 본 프로그램은 참여자들에게 미친 긍정적인 영향과 교육적 효과를 입증하였다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 미술 영역 박물관 문화예술교육 프로그램 개발 연구가 기대 되는 시점에서 향후, 미술 분야와 연계할 수 있는 또 다른 예술 장르의 통합 및 융합 교수-학습 프로그램이 개발되어 다양한 연령대의 참여자들의 문화예술 활동에 긍정적인 영향을 주고, 나아가 문화예술 역량을 함양하는 민주시민으로서의 성장에 이바지 할 수 있기를 바란다.;The purpose of this study is to examine arts & culture education, which is coming to the fore around the world in the 21st century, develop the Kumdarak (Dream Attic) Saturday Culture School that began as a part of arts & culture education since year 2012, and discuss the corresponding educational effectiveness. For this aim, the arts & culture education program associated with the 2017 Ewha Museum Kumdarak Saturday Culture School Program will be planned based on the theoretical consideration of museum education and arts & culture education and the conclusion of this study will be derived based on the data collection of the evaluation and the effectiveness of museum culture and art education program targeting the operators of this education program, culture and art education experts, and participants. The study methods to achieve the objectives can be suggested as the following. First, the data necessary for the design process of arts & culture education program have been collected through the theoretical consideration of museum education and arts & culture education. Second, in order to plan and verify the effectiveness of museum culture and arts education program, the 2017 Ewha Museum Kumdarak Saturday Culture School Program focused on Art has been developed. Third, in a bid to measure the effectiveness of the program developed by this study, a prior examination and an after examination targeting 39 participants were conducted based on the effectiveness questionnaire survey that is suggested by 'The 2016 Culture and Art Education Effectiveness Measurement Index' in the study by the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service. Fourth, so as to figure out the evaluation and the effectiveness of the development of arts & culture education program, the data related to expert consulting, education manager, interviews of participants, and education observation by participation and the corresponding analysis was conducted. After the education, when it came to the statistical processing of the examination results, the prior examination results and the after examination results were compared and analyzed by using the SPSS Ver. 21.0. The summary can be organized as the following. First, the effectiveness of arts & culture education was higher in all sections after conducting education. Second, since the education showed significant differences in the subordinate domains of the effectiveness examination - the emotional domain, the cognitive domain, the cultural domain, and the social domain, the effectiveness toward the participants after the education, as suggested in this study, was measured as high. Moreover, the following facts can be derived through the expert consulting and the interviews with education managers and participants regarding the aspect of the program evaluation. First, the objective of the education reflected in the program planning process was identified to be the education program that reflects the value of arts & culture education by suggesting in detail the changes of arts & culture that deviated from the existing function-centered arts education. Second, in terms of the contents and the methodology of education, the orientation toward the autonomous arts & culture education activities centered on learners through the association based on the arts domain and the intensive organization of the educational contents of respective sessions was examined. Thus, the effectiveness of the arts & culture education by the participants has shown statistically significant results through the education program suggested by this study, the fitness of the arts & culture education program associated with arts based on the in-depth interview results of education managers has been verified, and this has had positive effects on the participants. In conclusion, this program is meaningful in the sense that it verified the positive effects and the educational effects from the participants. At the time when the studies on the development of the museum arts & culture education program in the arts domain are anticipated to be conducted, this study advises that the teaching-learning program that combined another art genre with the arts domain exercises positive influence toward the arts & culture activities of the participants from diverse age brackets and contributes to the growth as democratic citizens who can foster the arts & culture capability.
